They worry about what all the attention around him will do to their team culture, how strong his work ethic is and whether his father, LaVar, could become a distraction."

i think that part is fair and should be taken into consideration from a front office perspective, doesn't speak to the kids talent though.

I think the fact that they have him pegged as #1 overall pick speaks to his talent. Kind of remarkable that he won't even be 19 until next August.

I get that part. I'm talking IRT to his detractors that only speak about his association as why they devalue him as a prospect.

after what he did to Moses Moody's name, I got DJ K. Perk in a Verzuz battle against ANYBODY

Unless you see him put up numbers like Luca by the time he's 22 or 23, I'd be absolutely fine with the Warriors passing on him if they had the chance.

I've watched a ton of his highlights, but I haven't watched an entire game. Any chance you can send us a couple of games? I'll watch them.

But he still has horrid shooting numbers. 37% from the field, 25% from 3, and only 72% from the line. And his shot looks like crap to me.

He is a fantastic passer with good vision and a really good handle. But still lacking in defense.

But I would watch a game of two if you send them. I just don't think I'm wrong.

He fits on the bench. And you don't draft a bench player with a pick that high when you have your all star core coming back next year. Now if we didn't have Curry and Klay and we would be rebuilding from scratch, that would be a different conversation but it isn't the case.

I'm still high on Lamelos NBA talents as a playmaker, but if we fall outside a top 3 pick and Wiseman, Edwards, Cole Anthony are all taken -- I wonder how interested the Pelicans would be in trading for Melo to keep the brothers together? Dont see us getting value this season thoigh but NO does have a collection of picks.

Maybe they could be interested but I'm not even sure the Pelicans want to keep Lonzo past this year. He gets some of the most inconsistent minutes.

I'm hoping that Lamelo continues to improve his stock because that will only increase the value of our high draft pick. Another team that could trade up to get Lamelo is OKC since they have a ton of assets as well. If they trade Paul, a backcourt of SGA and Lamelo could be interesting. Two long 6'6" PG/SGs has the potential to be a scary backcourt in the future.

Bring Nellie as well, we'll smash back pints and hurl abuse at Chris Cohan and Robert Rowell.

Terrible

But worth nothing he's been thrown into a higher scoring role that he's not ready for due to the teams two other imports (Josh Boone and Kevin Brooks ) going down with season ending injuries

Cole Anthony with back to back triples against Ohio State when UNC was down 9 and their offense was cold. I like how he fights through screens at the top of the key. He's really proving me wrong. I'm a huge fan now.

New Draft Crush Alert:

New hidden Diamond - Paul Reed DePaul 6'9" and shoots 43% from 3.

15 points, 10 rebounds, long, defender, 2 assists, 2 steals, and a whopping 3.5 blocks per.

DePaul is fun to watch and he's a huge part of it. Dude is legit when you envision him at small forward in the NBA.

The fact that he shoots it so well from 3, and he blocks the Hell out of shots, makes him a perfect fit.
