Zion Williamson May Not Make NBA Debut Until 2020

There is "resignation" among members of the New Orleans Pelicans that Zion Williamson will not make his NBA debut until 2020, reported Marc Stein of The New York Times.

The team are being extra cautious with Williamson's rehab.

Williamson, who had knee surgery over 6 weeks ago, has yet to return to on-court work.

How much longer before we start talking BUST? Signs aren’t good on this. I don’t have an example where this worked out. Simmons is the only one I got, and Simmons isn’t amazing like Zion was supposed to be.

Dude is too heavy (not fat). His game is so explosive that given his mass and the repetition of jarring his knees on the court after each dunk takes a toll on the body. If he wants to stay in the NBA he's going to need to cut his mass 30lbs. Cut back on the supplements if he takes them, or anything else that might be contributing to his bulk (high protein diet).. ect. One thing is for sure. He is jacked.

Or he could just switch to football and play TE. He'd make millions there.

Don’t worry come 2020 or just after allstar they will determine that it’s best he use the whole season to recover.
