What a game! So glad Young said it’s “ova” and then proceeded to get shut down, dunked on, knocked over, then through up a few desperation bricks. Hate to see it!

Hold up Bourne. How short a memory does this fanbase have? Up until the last few mins of regulation and overtime we were playing average to terrible and desperately needed better defense.

If Winslow played tonight, Duncan doesn’t get 10 3s. Nunn doesn’t get 36. Bam triple double? Nope. Winslow would get his 9 5 4 and his defense just isn’t enough. We got defenders. Winslow needs to bring something else

Could be a couple of things,
1. Stealing some minutes with him playing with the starters.
2. Just using him to create space to try to get the shooters going early on in the games.
3. Showcasing him to make him a positive asset instead of just an expiring contract.

Jimmy is a better version of him and DJJ contributes more because he can make a close basket. He's a great perimeter defender, but he's also too small to defend a big like our other guys. He's the odd man out. We're going to need to trade a young piece to upgrade the front court.

I’m not making any moves unless Pat gets info from NBA back channels that Giannis ain’t coming here. LMA, Love, McCollum, Beal, etc.....ain’t helping us win **** while the Clippers/Lakers exist out west and Milwaukee still around. Better to be patient and ride it out with this squad. We still have a lot of room for improvement as it is.

I truly don't understand why this fan base is quick to turn on Winslow whenever we win without him. Have you seen our D lately since he has been out? He is valuable piece for multiple reasons. Our bench literally scored 11 points (DJJ with 9 by himself) tonight. Get over yourselves.

We 100% lose this game if Chalm Down had made the game thread.

Well if we can find a guy that doesn't interfere with 2021 and allows us to move on from Waiters and JJ, Pat will pull the trigger. I don't think Love because his contract extends longer than that. IDK who, but I'm sure Pat is keeping his eyes open.

Well I didn't bring up Winslow first. But he's probably going to be the piece needed in a trade to unload the bad contracts or upgrade with somebody. It just seems logical.

Winslow just helped us get a W over Toronto on the road sans Dragic, but the mighty Hawks at home would have been too much

Robinson had 14pts in the first 6mins before Winslow would even hit the court and ATL probably don't make 20 3pt shots as a team, Hunter probably doesn't shoot a career high 28pts against us and Carter and Reddish's scoring numbers probably drop too and we get it done in regulation if Winslows playing.

You say Winslow would have given us 9/5/4 when DJJr gave us 9/7/2 in 34mins. Winslow would have taken most of DJJr's minutes and maybe some of Olynyk's if Spo wasn't so stubborn not Robinson's and Nunn's.

I can't believe another one goes to OT. DRob, Nunn, Bam, and Jimbo all were big down the stretch. Herro had a forgettable performance, but you can't be clutch every night. A win is a win. I'll take it. We're undefeated so far, when I catch a game live. Who wants to invest in some Thai coffee to keep the streak going?

I agree with this^
This Winslow love and fascination belongs to another Heat era it seems. The new Heat team has made leaps from where that other Heat team used to be. I don’t want to go back to the suffering style of sad basketball. It’s depressing. Like you said, Winslow needs a facelift on his game. Or he could find himself as a 12 man candidate. Too much NBA talent available.

I can't help but think how good this team would be with Big 3 prime Bosh next to Bam.

A lot of the damage against the defense was done when we had Kelly playing the 5. That needs to stop. Kelly and DJJ aren't a good combo in the front court.

It’s also the same guys defending him. Same guys making excuses and pointing at one or two games in 5 years where he “helped us beat the raps”. We in year 5 now fam. Nunn a wife beater has shown more promise and upside in 2 months than Winslow ever has. Same for Tyler and DRob and Bam and DJJ and the list goes on and on. It doesn’t take 5 freaking years to see if a guy has star potential or not. Those things are seen right away, you either have it, or you don’t. Enough excuses, you won’t see me crying when he is dished off to Memphis or wherever he ends up. PLENTY OF CHANCES, same ol disappointments.
