I would call GSW and kick the tires on Looney. He clearly can contribute as a big in the brightest moments. Health is definitely a concern but set that aside, he fits a lot of what we would need at C to pair with Theis and Timelord.
Let's see how Kanter does vs. Embiid Thursday night. If it turns out he can defend him reasonably effectively, then trading him except for another bulky big would be madness. And even if that doesn't work out, Kanter is a high-quality cheap reserve, if we note that cheap reserves who have great strengths are expected to also have serious flaws.
