I hope your right but I seriously doubt it. Wizards still had to pay Gilbert Arenas his 100mil after bringing guns to the game lol. We stuck with this clown. Really sucks we might have to attach a good player to him to get rid of him.

Can the NBA give me 5 million $ per season? I’ll do more than Mion/Anderson I swear. I’ll cheer each basket, stand up and make noise, and even high five the players each game.

Dion wants out but he's out here making it worse to get rid of him. He is only hurting himself. He's young he could have set himself to get the midlevel in his next contract as a 6 man off the bench. Good teams will stay far from him now. Maybe someone will take a chance at him but for the minimum. He was never a starter but he could have had a long career as a 6man, he is perfect for that role. SMH some people are too small minded to see bigger picture
Best case both sides agree to keep Dion away from the team for the rest of this season. Then try to trade him in the summer or waive him.

Dude's career is over. Let a few minor infractions spoil over
Needs some kind of help, hopefully he finds whatever right track that he needs. I'd recommend trying to make it in the GLeague instead of overseas, don't think he's ready for that kind of humility

It appears Dion has some issues dealing with every day life. If he needs help I hope he can get it & try to get to a better place. That said, his contract really hurts the team going forward. The Heat could really use another consistent contributing player on this roster. Dion & JJ are dead weight holding this team back from possibly contending deep into the playoffs.

We were the only team to pay him bidding against ourselves. He wasn't getting MLE anywhere unless we gave it to him. Ricky Davis 2.0 should've never been brought here.

He had a contract offer from Lakers, the same contract that Lakers eventually gave KCP

I wouldn't be surprised if somehow Dion gets off of this roster this season and ends up on LAL's roster without them having to trade us. Rich Paul will do anything to secure Lebron his rings.

More likely that Dion sabotages the Lakers instead of assisting Lebron in getting more rings. Lebron hated playing with Dion when he went back to Cleveland too.

Here's the provision I had read:
The Team may terminate this Contract upon written notice to the Player if the Player shall at any time, fail, refuse, or neglect to conform his personal conduct to standards of good citizenship, good moral character (defined here to mean not engaging in acts of moral turpitude, whether or not such acts would constitute a crime), and good sportsmanship, to keep himself in first class physical condition, or to obey the Team's training rules.
Waiters continued refusal to fit in and contribute follows this clause fairly well. However, it would be a precedent being set if he was the fall guy for this sort of behavior. The case against him would have to be pretty substantial.

Well that is why they are officially documented the incidents. They probably can not imply incidents from last year's because it was not documented. Dion can test those limits if he want

NBA contract: You can scroll down to section 16, with the subheading: Termination.

Re: Miami Heat Regular Season Thread - Part 1 - Can You Feel It?
Here's the last 3 paragraphs from a new article about Duncan Robinson.
https://uproxx.com/dimemag/duncan-robinson-miami-heat-stats-analysis/
His defensive issues have been mitigated by Miami basically realizing that keeping him on the floor with at least one of Bam Adebayo or Jimmy Butler is a pretty good decision. Robinson has played 1,231 possessions this year, per Cleaning the Glass. A mere 268 of those have come with both Adebayo and Butler on the bench — you will be stunned to learn that Miami’s defense is allowing 113.4 points per 100 possessions and an effective field goal percentage of 55.4 percent when that happens. The former is in the 22nd percentile of all lineups, the latter is in the 13th percentile.
The 963 lineups with at least one of them on the floor paint a different picture. Those are allowing 104.2 points per 100 possessions (79th percentile) and an effective field goal percentage of 50.1 percent (77th percentile). Put them all on the floor together, which has happened on 669 possessions this year, and the Heat are nuking opponents. Those are in the 99th percentile for point differential, the 95th percentile for points per 100 possessions (an even 100), and the 91st percentile on eFG% (48.6 percent). Oh, and their offense in that situation is in the 99th percentile for effective field goal percentage, too.
Miami found a gem in Robinson. He won’t win them all that many games on his own, but for what the team needs and what they ask him to do, he is perfectly capable of contributing to winning basketball in a big way. His unconventional path to the league makes this all a surprise, but his collegiate career probably should have indicated that he was a rock solid role player in the right situation.

something else was going on when they gave Dion that contract, riley looks like great guy most times and very intelligent but he is probably a mother f***** when it comes to money, James leaving could not not make him Make such horrible mistakes? He been dealing with NBA stuff like this almost all his life... somebody or something else had to be involved

Okay Heat piece by Lowe:

Good read, especially the Bam angle. However, he finishes saying Miami has had an easy schedule so far. Are you kidding me? How many crazy back to backs against playoff teams have we had? Another out of touch media member.
