A lot of teams have their power forward initiate the offence in a delay action. Basically they remove defensive pressure by getting it to the 4 in the 4 out. The biggest problem I've had with Randle is turnovers and forcing the issue (probably due to trying to be a #1 option). Fizdale had Randle (A POWER FORWARD) initiating the offense and bringing the ball up... I NEVER UNDERSTOOD THAT!!
Dude plays hard EVERY night and tried (unsuccessfully) to be the #1 option. Hopefully under Miller we'll continue to see improved play in a SYSTEM set up to maximize strengths.
