I have to admit I was not a fan of Donte when we drafted him but he's quickly become my favorite player behind Giannis.
I love his max effort mixed with athleticism and his ability to handle the ball and shoot it. He's a very smart player. His off ball defense is so damn good!
I may need to get a shirsey.

We should keep tabs on Randle. The Knicks are trying to cut their losses so we may be able to get him on a discount. I'm vary regarding Brook.

Only interest I’d have in him is as a buyout, which isn’t going to happen.

I like Randle
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

In a vacuum, I'm not nuts about him but I do think he could be gangbusters here. His defensive problems would be less of an issue with one of the Lopi on the floor with him, he's hell on the offensive glass and is capable from 3.

I generally like Randle. But how does he fit here with Giannis more or less playing the same spot as him. I think a Lopez, Giannis, Randle combo gets very clunky. In the same way say Philly right now is awkward fits.
I think a small ball with Giannis at 5 would probably blow the doors off teams on O. BUt who knows about that on D. And, we just invested a big-ish contract in Lopez.

Hard to march salaries though. We'd have to give up Brook+ to make a trade happen. And Randle has been very poor from 3 this year. It really depends what a deal would look like and it's probably New York who would have to add value. But we definitely should keep track.

Like we would have to give up Lopez just to match salaries so we wouldn't have to worry about Lopez.
Randle and Giannis demand a similar defensive profile and both draw fouls at a high rate. Plenty of teams would just foul out. Defense obviously would be a major work in progress. Not sure we even would want to risk that with our record.

Brook’s defense is criminally underrated around the league.

Some players nut up when the going gets tough and others go to water. I'd do Bled/Ers/Pacers pick for Jrue if it was on the table. Perhaps not a popular deal around here but Jrue is a guy who nuts up come playoff time. We'd be so much better with him/Giannis/Midds as our point of attack.
I like Bled's D and he's been a strong contributor to our turnaround but he's going to crack again this year in the playoffs. He just doesn't have 'it'.

sure, but he'd replace Ersan in the rotation and the marginal gain (in part because of few minutes) would be small.

I'd take Randle. He's a bit like poor mans Giannis without the defense. Decent playmaker. Decent shot. can bully guys. Really bouncy. For a 30 minute off the bench 3rd big, you could do MUCH worse. Not sure what it'd take, but we have limited trade assets.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

I’m at a place right now, unless there is an injury, I won’t make a trade. If I can get a big who can shoot on a buy out, I would look at that

I think we need bogdan or reddick. Bogdan is the better ball handler and shot creator but reddick is a more efficient shooter, not mention FT shooter. You know reddick will show up as for bogdon, no playoff experience though he's a demon in pressure situations especially for serbia and i think it can translate to the playoffs.
Jrue would be an upgrade to bledsoe, mainly because of size and dare i say shooting. However he's not gifted enough offensively.
Bertans is probably the best shooter on form. Though should he go cold it could be a mirotic 2.0.
Overall, i think we need to add another scorer for those cold spells. Jrue isn't that. Bertans could be though is mostly catch and shoot. Bogdan or reddick would be ideal and probably the best available this trade period. Assuming you can hide them on d, they'd be great additions.
