More to the point, he's one of the best finishing PGs in the league.

Have been wondering lately if there's a feasible way to get Gary Harris. Looked at the numbers yesterday and no there is not.

No doubt but with solid rim protection, he struggles and it's a problem for bled more than other PGs because he doesn't have a reliable floater or pull up mid, let alone 3pt shot.

Any interest in Beasley?

Really liked him coming out of FSU but I think he'd have a hard time here, and his contract status is a concern -- I don't want a rental who doesn't have a clear path to a role.

Harris is locked in for a few years and I strongly believe his contract would look terrific after 20 games here. But would I include George Hill in a deal for him? It might be for the best long term but that pill is impossible to swallow atm.

Ersan/Robin/DJ works from a salary perspective (would rather deal Ersan than George), but, as is a trend in these ideas, we gut our rotation of high end chemistry pieces. Tough call, as I agree Gary would be awesome here.

I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't consider Sterling/Bender/pick for Beasley though, either. We'd have to pay him or let him walk, but I think Malik would find a role quick.

Scottie never met a shot he didn't like, he would make Brandon Knight look like John Stockton in comparison

I wouldn't want to give up a first for Beasley but for a second I'd consider it. Thing is, Beasley would have to be willing to take a discount in the off-season to stay here cause if we wanted to bring him back some team easily could bring us in an uncomfortable position by offering an ugly contract. Would prefer a longer cost controlled player.

Also I'm still intrigued by LaVine. He's not really a Bucks DNA player in the sense that he can make extremely dumb decisions and he's an awful team defender, but he also is in the sense that he can shoot, drive and pass. He also has an incredible work ethic off the court, is in the same age bracket as Giannis and is relatively cheap. Hard to find a trade that works for both teams though cause Chicago is trying to win.

At this point I think we have a clear 9 man rotation for the playoffs with Hill, Donte, Ersan, Robin coming from the bench. Maybe we can use some of Sterling, Pat, Kyle, DJ, Dragan and the Indy pick to add some more future talent.

I was thinking something like Brown, Wilson, Indy pick for Doumbouya + filler (Frazier?). I don't know if Detroit would bite, but it's basically moving down in the draft (Sekou was #15, the Indy pick will fall in the late 10s or early 20s) for two NBA ready players (Brown, Wilson).

Sekou in Milwaukee working with him just like they did with Giannis would be an awesome project.

Nico Melli would make a much better Buck than a Pelican.

Nah, bad players fit better on the Pelicans.

Beasley not being cost controlled would make him more easily attainable than if he did have a good deal locked in.

Same as Bogdan.

Does Beasley move the needle enough though to be worth shaking up the lineup?

If he would be so good here that he earns a big deal that would be considered a victory so we would have to plan accordingly.

For the second year running, I’m fine with us rolling with what we’ve got. Which is an amazing statement.

Yep and for the future that 1st round pick(pacers) could be important. Right now it seems like the team is kind of old. Have to replenish.
