 DLo hell no.

Too ball dominant and not enough of a shooter to compensate for such; Poor defender.

Which brings to ask: why are we focused on guards when we have a plethora of them on this roster: Justise, Herro, Dragic, Nunn, etc.

Get me Steven Adams as a positive reinforcement in the paint for battles against Giannis and Embiid, and I’ll punch our ticket to the Finals. I don’t care!

Who are we moving for him? I love me some Steven Adams. Willing to be irrational for him. Only so much though.

At 27 million ?

Fun facts :
- The Miami Heat surpassed the Knicks in championships
- Only the Lakers, Bulls, Celtics and Spurs have more championships

Johnson
Waiters
Olynyk
Leonard

Two of those 4 + a 2025 First. We’ve got the movable salary. That’s not a question. Adams isn’t a good contract, so they can’t ask for the stars and the sun.

We’re paying JJ and Waiters 27 million to not play at all. Could be worse.

Maybe because Dlo at the moment is better than all of them? He is averaging over 22 points and over 6 assists in 31 minutes as point guard. In the playoffs we are going to need more than what we have. We might need a legitimate second option and Dlo is already a dependable star in this league.

Yes but JJ and Waiters are not killing our spacing sitting on the bench. Our outside shooting next to Jimmy and Bam it's what's making our offense good this season.

Sure, but interior defense matters and you’ve got to be prepared for the competition. Toronto doesn’t win that title last year without that deal for Marc Gasol and that interior defense he provided against Philly and Milwaukee. And if we could keep one of Olynyk or Leonard, we’d still have the ability to space the floor with a big. I would trust Spo to stagger those minutes correctly depending on the match up.

But overall I’m fine with doing nothing either. Think we’ve got a real shot either way.

Waiters, Johnson, and a FRP. Would laugh at how good that would be for us. Rid ourselves of our issues and get a manga loving, Kiwi enforcer. Yes please.

I'd actually have him sub in for Bam. Reduce Bam's minutes a bit to conserve energy since he expends so much. Would theoretically reduce the wear and tear on Bam since he's balls to the wall pretty much all the time. Have him play the same role Bam does.

Adams is a very good team player. His offensive rating is very high. Defensive rating about the same as the rest of our guys. Would find 25 minutes a game for him somehow.

I'd buy Adams over Love/Aldridge, there's just not a reality where Adams is worth that contact.

I'd fish in the bungalows for TT before I commit to that. Doesn't really solve our PF liability issue either, but an easy fix-- defensively-- if Spo stops playing with JJ's name

Most veteran players who become available via trade are hardly ever worth their contracts at face value. That’s why they’re available for trade in the first place.

True. As a back up for Bam, he'll be awesome.

it would seem as if a lot of what we think we need is already on this roster..they're just injured or in the dog house. I do still see the need for a utility big with a little more weight than Silva, Thompson is the name [and contract] that I like.

Read on Twitter

In addition too, Herro needs to shoot more corner treys, and Nunn needs to make more corner treys.

Praying for a few nights for Justise Winslow 2018-19 offense to return.

Return to Miami Heat
