Because there should only be four teams in the playoffs
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.
Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Yeah, not going for 2 didn't make sense, and still doesn't and now they could lose.

Re: College Football Discussion
O$U only turning up for one half against the good teams finally burned them after they couldn't convert TD's.

Any time the Ohio State hype train comes to a screeching halt is a damn good day. Same can be said for all of their future hall of fame QB's that exit the league in 3 years.

LSU favored by 5.5
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

He makes my skin crawl. I hate the South.
In other news, the national official referee oversight guy, and the B10 oversight guy, both have come out and said that OSU's fumble recovery for a TD should not have been overturned. That call was such bull. You have to do a lot to make me feel bad for an OSU fan, but that call was insane and it prevented them from beating a team I might possibly loathe even more right now. Clemson being in the NC is about as **** boring as it gets.
The definition of a catch is so god damn stupid. Football is really a frustrating sport.

Re: College Football Discussion
I didn't catch that play until yesterday but it blows my skull how it played out. Looks like a catch in real-time, is called as such, looks even more like a catch on replay, and it gets reversed. That's about as terrible a call as I can remember.

I look forward to numerous posts on Gopherhole about how 4 and 5 star recruits in the south will now strongly consider Minnesota after their win over Auburn in the Outback Steakhouse Bowl.

If he slides to the late teens/early 20’s that’s damn tempting. Though I think Aaron reacts worse than Brett did when we eventually draft his replacement.

Re: College Football Discussion
Lots of positions would be tempting in the early rounds: OL (Bulaga? Linsley?), ILB (but I don't see any besides Simmons and the Oklahoma guy going in mocks' first couple rounds), CB (Kevin King in his FA year), WR, TE.
I don't love going WR in the first round, but I'd be excited about Tee Higgins. Big and fast and great hands and great agility. He's so good.
