If I’m the C’s I would offer a godfather offer for Jaren Jackson Jr. Romeo/Grant/3-4 picks including the Memphis picks. Pretty unlikely but that’s the perfect 3 piece behind the 2 jays.

He's also a great pair for the grizz. You don't trade a sure thing for a draft chance in their situation. He's a second year player and they have years of control.

They don’t have any particularly major flaws at the moment in my opinion. I agree Theis/Kanter/Williamses is fine with so much talent and scoring across the wings and guards.

The bench scoring continues to be a bit of a problem. Ideally a Lou Williams type could be a good addition. What about Derek Rose? What’s his contract situation? Surely he doesn’t want to waste the remainder of his career on a team that is going nowhere like the Pistons.

Bench scoring isn't really a problem. If you really want to "solve" that "problem" just move one of our wings to the bench.

I just watched Orlando Philly game. Please physically restrain me if I suggest trading for an ORL player ever again.

It will probably never happen but I’d love to trade for Isaac.
Brown at the 2, Tatum at the 3 & Isaac at the 4 defensively is a nightmare for opposition teams.

It feels more and more like we're going to target the buy out market. I think there is a pretty good chance that Tristan Thompson becomes available. Could be a good fit...but I could see him running to either LA team or possibly a team like Dallas.

I'm not interested in another player with ties to the Kardashians.

Why though ? He’s basically Theis 2.0 but without the 3 point shot.

He's younger, stronger and isn't as injury prone as Theis is. I love Theis, but I think Holmes is a better player, although I think he would cost too much.

Yeah, I've been infatuated with him for a while. I'd slot him in as our "center" actually. But, I think he'd still only be our 5th best player - a monster defensive role player. If we could trade for and pay for him as such, great. But, like you said, not happening.

Right...and that's how he plays. A big strong guy who played a 17 ft and in game. Burks has NEVER been that guy. He doesn't play the 4. He's never been a 4. He's a ballhandling wing. Only reason I even quibble over a distinction like this is to push back against any idea that he would help us in the frontcourt. He does nothing for us there.

Never said it would help the frontcourt. I would much rather have Burks in the playoffs over rookies Edwards, Langford, G Williams, Green and vet Ojeleye.

I’m not concerned about the frontcourt. Shore up your team. No one is stopping Giannis and Embiid. That’s fools gold.

It’s not about stopping Giannis or Embiid. It’s about throwing size against them to help prevent them from completely dominating a playoff series.

There's zero chance TT is bought out. He doesn't want to give up his Bird Rights and he doesn't want to sign for the MLE next summer.

Isaac is the only guy. He will be a defensive stud and his offense is still improving plus he's young.

Really sucks that Timelord is injured. One more injury and we may have to rethink about his future with the Cs as the starting C.

Who’s the best player we can get using Smart, Poirier and Semi?

Steven Adams?

I really like JV at Memphis more than Adams. He has always given the Sixers and the Bucks problems when he was with the Raptors.

ps. While I would like to see the center issue resolved I don't want to see Smart traded.

Really good player to have off the bench. It looks like he is finally over his injury problems too. I would expect all the playoff teams would be interested in him. Not sure he would choose Boston over the other options.
