Houston is fully healthy now. Lets see how they look. This Hartenstein kid looks promising. They have alot of depth right now from guards to wings and possibly bigs. No Warriors this year either so no more excuses in the playoffs
They could easily go 9-10 deep in the regular season depending on how you feel about Clark but MDA won't consistently play more than 8 guys. Rivers only played 7 minutes until garbage time tonight

Very impressive considering his first 3 seasons were probably in the 13-14 ppg range.

Yes, for a guy who was a sixth man coming off the bench it was suprising. I don't think anyone knew he would become this good over the years. The scary thing is he keeps getting better each year, it's been great to watch his development over the years.

I must say after very slow start to the season and several Westbrook-esque bad shooting games he has been on another level as of late. He is shooting best he has shot in Rockets uniform, basically, from 3 point line and elsewhere on the floor, while having huge usage and scoring volume. It's just astonishing someone scores at this rate and is the most efficient he has ever been in his long career.

Also it needs to be said, last 10 or so games he has been not just selectively double teamed, but every time he crosses the half court line. If that is not the all time ''gravity'' I don't know what is. What he does? He just keeps increasing his scoring efficiency at same time...

Ah yes bastion.

I forgot how brilliant some of his posts were, highly intelligent with a fearlessness to go against the grain of thought, but he always backed up his arguments no matter how unpopular with evidence. Later what he said was taken for granted now.

Wish he still posted more but perhaps like myself real life priorities take up valuable time. Thanks for the reminder :)

The better Harden gets the more people hate him. Luka’s popularity is probably second only to Bron at this point. And people will vote for who they wanna watch.

I understand people who don’t enjoy watching Harden. I always tell people though if you could watch him with a close-up cam and see how tricky and shifty the dude actually is to get guys off balance on every possession people would appreciate him a lot more. People love to reminisce about post up greats like Barkley and Dream and McHale but Harden is essentially the perimeter version of those guys (and Barkley played so goddamn slow they made a rule to stop him). From the top angle Harden’s game just looks like dribble dribble dribble because you can’t see all the head bobs and body leaning and subtle manipulation. He is a technical master of the game on par with anyone in history IMO.

He absolutely is everything you say he is. Which is a shame because if he wasn’t trying to bait for a whistle on nearly every offensive possession, he’d be appreciated a lot more.

Games like this make you wonder if he’s the best offensive player of all time. This is ducking silly.

He’s really not getting enough love in the media. He’s broken the NBA. Double team him at half court or he scores an efficient 40+.

D'Antoni + Today's soft perimeter defense rules + Hardens crafty ability = Hardens Insane offensive numbers

He can average 50 points a game, I just don't trust him and this type of system in the PO

The playoff concerns are fair and I dont think id call him the greatest offensive player ever but discounting the fact that the man can hit steback threes from curry range as crafty ability is a bit much lol, he also lowkey has the most effecient handles in the league, in terms of off an iso, his ability to read his defender is insane

Also i love how capela is an auto lob whenever a center helps lol

I wouldn't make a drama out of this example......
there are way worse fan selections. Just saying. Luka is an offensive superstar himself, but we know Harden is still better

Up to .386 on 3pters which would easily be his best. He's actually taking 1 less 3 per 100 possessions than last year (16.6) but slightly more per game (13.5)

It’s so weird how Westbrook basically needs to ram into someone to balance himself when he’s going in for a layup, like most people create contact to not get blocked or get in a bette reposition or draw the foul but Westbrook does it so he doesent fall out of control and miss the layup, like when he finishes under control he’s actually a pretty damn good finisher

These are the types of games that make people speculate Harden got a concussion or went to the strip club the night before

Well if you listen to certain fanbases you'd think gravity only applies to one player. Everyone else including Harden just plays the game in a vacuum and will get criticized for bad games because they don't make things easier for their teammates.
