Suns gotta start Rubio/Booker/Oubre/Mikal/Ayton eventually. That lineup has been great to close out games

Oubre had more than a solid game, he had a monster game

25 points / 15 rebounds / 3 steals / 2 blocks

Ayton was beasting on the inside too

I love their young core

I saw a lot people here hating on Oubre when they played us cause he showboats a lot but man if he was on the Knicks everybody would love him. He is def one of the most underrated players in the league. Dont know if he has a shot to win it but he should absolutely be in the convo for MIP

Slowly but surely Ayton is starting to realize that he can be hard to stop in the paint. You love to see it. He's just too big and too athletic for most big men in the league. Suns is gonna be a major problem in a year or two. That core is real good

Ayton is eventually going to be their starter but they are easing him in because he missed so much time. He's also playing with some fresh legs and hasn't played as many games as the rest of the league so he's a lot more springy than other guys so when they put him in it really changes things because he's so active on the offensive glass. I really love him in that role, move bodies out the way and crash the boards. Guys like Booker and Oubre Jr and Ricky are going to demand so much attention from the defense, that when they put a shot up, Ayton is so athletic and strong he can just crash the boards and beast like he has been.

Teams like the Atlanta Hawks shouldn’t be allowed to monopolize the lottery by purposely tanking every season.Shame on them for putting in zero effort against the Brooklyn Nets.

Small sample size (39 mins) but that lineup

130.8 ORTG
93.6 DRTG
37.2 NRTG

Even when you replace Ayton with Baynes it’s still a 20+ NRTG

https://on.nba.com/2O5wBUn

Rubio as the floor general for stability + the commitment to the youth they made last year is helping them take the next step. I think they make the final 8 if they stay healthy and make some moves along the margins.

All I know is the wizards are looking dumb for trading him for Ariza (basically nothing). Looks like sometimes players start to break out when they turn 22-23. Yet this impatient fanbase wants to dump young players for nothing if they aren't good right out of the gate despite many such cases of players making transformations around this age

I love this lineup because it has the perfect mix of offense and defense. You have Ayton being able to switch on everything while defending the rim at a competent level, Mikal defending the perimeter and switching on 1-4, Oubre bringing that high level intensity, Rubio and Booker initiating the offense. It’s fun to watch.

Injuries and Aytons suspension stopped the Suns from being an 8th seed but they may still have a shot if they’re healthy and make some small moves to improve their bench like you said.

Despite the reputation of their owner and management team am actually jealous of Suns fans. I really like their squad.

All summer I was yelling for the Knicks to throw an offer sheet to Oubre. I bet you if you got it up to 18-20 the Suns wouldn't have matched. Should have spent the Portis money on him.

The front office is really **** stupid. They have no foresight. The only players they try to acquire are established players or young busts who they think they can fix but definitely won't. Oubre fell underneath the category of untapped potential with positive indicators for future success but they totally missed it because they're all morons.

i think some of you should at the very least wait until 2/6 - only then will we find out what their plan was
with all of these fee agent signings they made over the summer...

They need to get rid of someone before Wednesday and call up Wooten. Let’s see how competent this FO is. I have no faith in Perry or Mills
