Just not good enough today. The end of the 2nd Quarter lost us the game.

I think, unfortunately for us, we just ran into a red hot team tonight who had a response for all of our runs, and constantly stopped our momentum. It didn't help that everyone aside from Kyrie was **** tonight.

Good game. Props to Utah they won't be easy out. Still think we will be better team come playoffs.

Oh well, they were the better team tonight. No sense in being down about it, we need to bounce back versus an Embiid-less Philly.

it's going to take some time to iron out the rotations and for everyone to settle into their roles. We've definitely got the horsepower back on the floor, it's just a matter of getting all cylinders firing at the same time.

Why? They couldn't score consistently or get steps.

He's not a good one on one defender. This goes back to that discussion earlier about needing someone that can defend at a high level on the perimeter.

Wasted a great night from Kyrie. Hoping that we can bounce back tomorrow, but not optimistic.

Meh. Utah came in red hot. The things that suck though is we could have brought it down but some mistakes at the wrong moments kept it a double digit game. On to the next one

He's not a good scorer either, still very inefficient. Something has to give with Levert, because we can't have a mediocre, injury prone player making 17 mill a year, when we're hoping to contend for a championship.

It really does seem like that to me. Someone who can force poor shots, cause some chaos, and produce some turnovers. They're going to have to figure that need out if they want to challenge the elites in the East.

Also, Mitchell is a flat-out stud, so I don't see it being that much of a 'LeVert did an especially poor job' kind of thing.

I'm not sure what you seen but what I've seen gives me a lot of good data. We missed a lot of plays that can only be polished through playing. We did get stops when needed just didn't score on them. Difference in this game was, they closed 2nd quarter and gave enough effort plays that seal the deal. I see very scary team that can take out any competition in EC. Need to build that chemistry though.

DJ and Allen missed a lot of role to the basket plays.
Guys haven't been in right places for open 3's.
We need more Rodi or Joe with their baseline cuts.
Defensive rotations need some work too, not bad but can be force in ammunition.
Man Kyrie is so dominant ( like MDB mentioned ) it changes entire dynamic. We scary good.

I see you're a blind optimist no one would agree that this team can beat Milwaukee, Toronto or Philly. No one.

Caris LeVert needs to play better and play consistently. I'm giving him some time however to get it going because as we know he's a notorious slow starter when coming back from injury.

Raptors and 6's not that good don't their record fool you. Bucks of course will be heavy favorite but this time around I think we got what it takes to take them out. Imo I got top three teams that separate themselves from others:
Fave- Clips
Right behind them- Lakers and Bucks
Solid- Den, Jazz, C's, Raps, 6's, Indy, BK and Houston.
Feel free to disagree but come playoffs most teams will try to avoid us. Our record don't show how good this team is.

I'm sorry, but I don't see this team winning in the playoffs at the moment. I'd love to be proven wrong, but again, I just don't see it. The 7-game losing streak this team came off of wasn't all because of simple bad luck and Kyrie, for as great as he is, just isn't enough.

Kyrie is just amazing. It still blows my mind that Net fans and analysts thought we were better without him while we were scraping by the worst teams in the league.

It's too bad we had that stretch in the 2nd where Dinwiddie and JA just killed us. Completely changed the game and got Utah's confidence way up. DJ also had some momentum killing mistakes. Turnovers and dropped passes. Can't do that against an elite team.

I don't get why we're still treating Prince like a 30 minute lock guy. Rodi played well. Should have played a lot more.

Yeah I think the brakes need to be pumped.

Do I think that we can improve this season? Absolutely. There's too much talent between what we have in the backcourt, on the wings and upfront not to be an above .500 playoff team. Will we be beating Toronto, Milwaukee, Philly? No. we haven't even earned the right to be in that discussion.

Lets watch the team develop chemistry and improve. We need to gauge who needs to remain here, who may need to be flipped to improve the team, and who can help us win a championship within these next three years.

Rodi needs to play more, I think he's really back to his old self. That cut and catch dunk he had in the first half was filthy. I also agree that the end of the 2nd quarter was the finishing blow. I'm not going to sweat this because Kyrie is on a mins restriction. Right now, LeVert and Dinwiddie need to start carrying their weight. We can't have Kyrie out here dropping 30 plus (with EASE) while they struggle. LeVert missed multiple shots inside. Dinwiddie bricked several FTs. They need to step up. Kyrie has held up his end of the bargain from the moment he got here, his backcourt mates need to play with more urgency and efficiency.

Also, we've got to start working more plays in to get Joe Harris looks. Teams are taking him away and it's hurting us offensively.
