Stop acting like we do good basketball here.
Lonzo is balling. Remember back in the days like two weeks ago when everyone was kinda coming around to the idea of Lonzo? Now he’s looking like a cornerstone.

His brother is light years ahead of him as an attacker.

The kinks will be worked out. His dad, I ain’t even gonna get into that hypocrisy but his dad is having no effect on either other than making them pretty good kids.

The kid would set the garden on fire. Fuq your analytics. And TMZ. Fuq YouTube. Fuq all of what makes you deny what your eyes see.

He’d be pure excitement in MSG. On OUR side.
He’s a MAGIC JOHNSON LEVEL PASSER.
Knox and Mitch, do you know what he does for them??
Dudes wanting to come play here would be a real thing and no not cuz of Johnny Mac and Leslie Jones.

We still trying to find a damn Oakley tho.

Y’all cut that damn basketball snobbiness out.

Well damn.....i feel like i just got in trouble by dad for not finishing my dinner.

Has never spoken to any of the noise?

As a Blackman I’m not being a sucker to the narrative.
The dudes that played for him loved him. As a man and coach.

Kinda apples and oranges but even with Kyrie.
Do people know/remember what a sports bad guy looked and sounded and acted like? And what bad meant?
This kid gets covered like he’s Hitler.

He does himself no favors sure but they treat him like he’s Lawrence Taylor off the court.

I kinda hate that. But whatever.

Lot of guys liked Fizdale too. Being liked don't make you a good coach

Exactly. Screw everything else, their team looked way better with a better coach and Mark Jackson clearly wasn't getting the most out of his players offensively. Mike Miller is clearly better and honestly needs to be the coach next year.

No more tanking. This is basketball.
We need to start winning games.

Well if we were a smart basketball team. We’ll get rid of all these vets and run with the kids next year anyway. So by default we’ll still end up with a lottery pick in a deep draft.

LaMelo or Edwards + RJ and Mitch is a great foundation to start with.

Ball says his dream would be for the NY Knicks to hire Mark Jackson as the next head coach — who would then take Melo with their first pick. In fact, Ball says he sees a world in which all 3 of his sons sign with the Knicks and play in Madison Square Garden. He thinks his fam can save the franchise. Metta World Peace says Ball's youngest son is the real deal -- and thinks he'll be a force to be reckoned with at the top levels.”

Ooooooooo get ready boys

This statement GUARANTEES the Knicks won't draft LaMelo, if they have the chance.

I would not be surprised if Lavar would later on say that he said this so his son WON’T be drafted by the Knicks.

Same thing when he said he doesn’t want Lonzo in New Orleans then later on said that he did that so Zo would in fact be traded to NOLA.

Alright little exercise
let’s say knicks land top 3 and they also manage to trade Morris for a late first. We will call that pick #24-28.

Lamelo at pick 26 Jordan Nwora
Ball + Nwora to add along to Barrett and Mitch

So who do you pick with top 3 pick. Assuming you get your choice of ball wiseman Edwards and who do you take around 24-28

LaMelo with the top 3 and I don't know who might fall to 24-28 but Nwora is a player I like there that could help immediately if that's what we want to go for. I also could go with vernon carey jr as a backup big. or cassius stanley who may some upside

So I think we can all agree for the most part that RJ is the guy we need to build around. Is there one guy that stands out above the rest that is the best to pair with rj in this draft.

Lamelo needs the ball in his hands
Edwards would force rj to play the 3
Wisemen vs Mitch

I feel like Rj can play with any of the three though

What do you mean, "build around"? I think we eventually play RJ at the 3 and continue to acquire talent.

Wiseman. Pick and roll and pick and pop with those two would be deadly.

It doesn’t hurt that they are good friends as well and both former Gatorade Players of the Year.

Ok I’m back with some more bread crumbs, so LaMelo posted this video of him starting boxing training. Dude behind him in a Knicks shirt. Coincidence or maybe it's written

I’d prefer Edwards + Nesmith

But I had a dream we got LaMelo and he had The Garden on fire. So I’ll be happy with a LaMelo + Nesmith draft as well.

Nesmith because I think he’s one of the better shooters in the draft. Pair him with Frank in the backcourt on the second unit and start building our bench squad.

If we drop out the top 3, Haliburton or Hayes should be the pick.

They might go with Cole Anthony though
