The problem with Zubac is the same problem with Boban. Those incredible numbers just don't translate well to all matchups, indeed to only some. It's a different league now. If you can't follow your man away from the basket, you're gonna get killed.

but after we traded Bobi to the Sixers, Brett Brown handed him the backup center job but soon learned the error of his ways. And Rick Carlisle is no fool either.
Zubac is actually more functional--although he's capable of dominating sometimes, Bobi can't give you the same steady 18 mpg that Zu does. [OTOH, I wonder how Zubac would fare as a genuine backup, playing with lesser 2nd-unit guys. Maybe we're only getting 18 decent minutes out of him because he's out there with plus defenders like Kawhi, Bev, Harkless and sometimes PG. That would explain a lot about how he is used.]
