So what if he can shoot? Basketball is not just shooting. Bertans is a role player that sucks on defense and cant create his own shot nor is he a playmaker. He is not a good fit next to Jokic.
Mostly I agree with you. But he would fit well next to Jokic - on offense. All he needs is half a second to get his shot off and if someone sets a pick, Jokic will find him in that moment. But I'd like him off the bench for 15 mpg or so on average.
Well i kind of agree but to be honest anyone who is a good shooter is a good fit in any offense and next to any player. Its the other things that need to be taken into account. If Bertans was a SF or a SG then it would make more sense but considering neither he or Jokic are rim protectors putting them next to one another is asking for trouble.
