How wild is life on this spiraling rock. Jack Nicholson has been doing 8-Balls of coke well into his late 70's and eating hoagies while Kobe treats his body like a temple and loses his life because of some one off mechanical issue. A screw that slowly shook loose over time or some wires that short circuited and a legend is gone. Just crazy how life works.

4 others is all I see. I assume his wife and/or kids weren’t with him or they’d be talking about that too. Didn’t they just have a baby recently? Those poor kids - so young to lose their dad.

Kobe was the first player I followed when I started to really get into the NBA, it's really sad to see him go out like this. I feel terrible for his four daughters.

This is incomprehensible. I don't think I will ever find the right words. RIP to one of the best ever, I want to remember the player that he was and forget all those times I hated him as an opponent or all the irrelevant stuff.
