ps: I can't believe they're not cancelling the games, it's the bare minimum, show some decency.

They didn't cancel any when Stern passed and he was the commissioner. So I guess because of that I wouldn't expect them to cancel any, other than Laker game.

This feels beyond surreal.. my brain is in denial, hoping that this was misreporting by TMZ, but that looks less likely with every minute as other channels report & confirm.. so very tragic.. hopefully the reports of his daughters being with him on the copter are completely false..

I'm refusing to believe his daughters were on board until I see a credible report.

So Kobe flying the chopper?

Or there were more than 5 people on board?

I can't believe the ESPN article mentions Colorado. That's disgusting.

ESPN manages to find a way to screw up even this.

Even tho TMZ is trash, when it comes to reporting death, they are usually reliable. Death is a very serious matter. Unfortunate news. Wow.

they are reliable generally, period.

the stuff they report on like celebrity related items is usually just that. celebrity related drama. hence why many people do not like things like entertainment tonight, etc.

was Kobe or Rick Fox flying the helicopter? that would make more sense that the helicopter crashed since they're probably inexperienced

This. There were reportedly five on copter. There would need to be a pilot plus four passengers, and presumably Kobe wasn’t flying.

Likewise. Dangers of social media. So much unverified and unconfirmed information being passed right now.

Stern's passing was nature, this is not nature, this does not suppose to happen.

I'm just so fuc*ing sad right now ... my favorite player ever, the one who made me a fan of basketball.

Thoughts to his wife and his daughters, to lose a husband/father that young, it's just tragic

Did they really? No way they did. Way too classless.
