Suppose this is a pretty untenable situation... but I woulda held out for a payout!

Instead, multiple players began playing songs that included the word “thug” whenever Beilein was within earshot, sources said: Bone Thugz-n-Harmony’s “Thuggish Ruggish Bone” and Tupac’s “Thugz Mansion” among them. As the team boarded the bus a few days after the incident, one player was intentionally playing Trick Daddy’s “I’m a Thug” with Beilein a few feet away. Other players blasted songs with the word “thug” loudly during workouts in the facility. Players did this to make light of a very tough situation, according to one team source.

Also this article confirms that Carsen's breakout game against the Cavs was relatively fools gold. Still had to hit the shots, but they were not even close to an NBA-caliber program at that point.

This article makes the Knicks look like the Spurs in how they're run. Wow.

LeBron carrying the Cavs to a title is right up there in terms of all time achievements, man. And then like any non-fool he got the **** right out of there.

Will think of better things to post.

Man it's great how OKC is doing well this year in a tough conference. I am really excited for them and their fans.

OKC hasn't skipped a beat. As much as I despise Chris Paul for being a dirty player/d-bag, I do admire how he's remained professional during the whole matter and has changed his attitude. He's not out there destroying SGA, Schroder or Adams if they mess up. He's being more of a leader. And Presti was just a genius when he pulled off those trades. Guy took advantage of 2 very desperate teams. I expect them to be a player the next time a young star player demands out. They have an insane amount of assets, and I suspect those Rockets picks are going to be very valuable at some point.

That OKC situation to me with all those picks is really interesting. And I have no idea how long Chris Paul will keep going but he looks really really freaking good at his age lol.

Letting Westbrook and PG go was actually a solid move, they weren't making you a real contender in the real world.

I wonder about PG too, he hasn't really shown enough with the Clippers yet and he will be depended on eventually to help make that team a contender soon. Right now it's more like Kawhi has to be GREAT for the Clippers to beat the best teams. Kawhi gonna need a little help at times this postseason too.

I really like this Clippers team though but I will admit that team has some ball stoppers on it.

I look for a REAL fire sale come draft time in Cleveland. Not just Love, but I expect anyone not drafted in the last 2 drafts will be for sale. I figure Sexton, Garland, Nance, Porter, Osman, Windler and maybe Exum to be kept around. After that, who knows ?

He has no value, but they need to dump Sexton, bust of a pick. Terrible at the game. Garland may turn out ok some day.

Problem is, Love is worth nothing, in fact, have to give up stuff to drop him for nothing. Drummond is worth 10m a year, and wants 20m, you just let him go. Garland/Porter are on rookie deals and could be rotational some day. Exum is overpaid and hard to dump. Osman is ass water and not worth anything to anyone. Nance is a worth while guy off the bench making starter money hard to get rid of as well.

They need to firesale, but have nobody worth lighting on fire. Don't waste assets to dump guys, horde your picks, let them expire. in the last year of his deal Love will have some value as an expiring to get a star player who wants out. Lord knows unless they grew up in Ohio, they aren't signing any all stars as free agents anyway.

Their view of Love is outside of reality if the media is to be believed. They are allegedly expecting assets back for him whereas they should view him as a salary dump and nothing more.

Can't read the article, but agreed. That organisation has been a **** for years, it's almost criminal that they have a title to their name. They'll probably win the lottery for the fifth time in less than twenty years in May as well.

And the Beilein thing was clearly not working from early on, but playing all those songs around him after he made the thug comment gaff? That's some lame, petty, juvenile trolling that you would expect a bunch of 13 year olds to do. Whats worse is other than Love and Thompson, they have a roster full of players who have done absolutely nothing except lose a lot of NBA games.

The guy was clearly outclassed and miserable. He got 8 mil for not even a full year of coaching. Probably signs a big college deal deal next year.

Teams like the Celtics and GMs like Danny are rare. We are patient with Doc and Stevens and they are permitted to have a bad season on the way to the good. And they were both shown a tremendous amount of respect from Boston fans they'd never get anywhere else.

The NBA is brutal and too many teams put coaches in impossible situations. Why coach an NBA team in Cleveland when you can get solid bank at a college where the administration and the students will treat you like a god? I can't think of a single reason why he wouldn't rather be back in Ann Arbor. I'm sure a top college will pick him up and he will be much happier.

Of course there are times when a college coach is better off heading for the doors. Can you imagine what would've happened if John Calipari had stayed at UMass long enough for his escapades to catch up with him? Don't need to imagine it. Just look at Rick Pitino at Louisville.

If I were an owner I'd try firing all the players instead of running the coach out of town. That's what the Cavs should have done. Just wave 'em all and start over.

Then you’d be reminded that the NBA has these things called guaranteed contracts.

There were people on this board telling us that it was a mistake trading that pick and not taking him.....

This is genuinely a great idea. Cut everyone, pay all their salaries, then be in contempt of NBA rules governing roster size. What could go wrong?

Why are Raptor fans so insecure.

A post about me not feeling Lowry is a star and they come out the woodworks.
