If KD struggles next year like most athletes post a major injury it’s 2 years of 4 year contract wasted. When I say struggle for KD I mean relative to his normal top 5 play. I expect him to still be very good.

I'm actually not sure I would want him. Giving that much money to a center today who is also a malcontent isn't great news for a team's morale IMO. Would love an upgrade someday but not sure I want to give a max to a center anymore.

If it was a fair deal maybe but no deal with getting Embiid would be likely fair.

Going to be an interesting game since the Nets often do blow leads themselves but can the Sixers find enough offense?

Embiid would have to fall in-line on this team. I'm not so sure that it's him, either.
In any event, it would take Hayward to make the trade. Maybe send some Extras back and forth.

Hayward is a good guy. But at this point he's redundant. Embiid fills a need.
