Also I don't think it's much of a conspiracy because if they had strong ratings in that terrible timeslot ESPN would've lived with it but mediocre ratings AND pissing off not just owners in the NFL but also other ESPN personalities (because a large part of his argument was that the media, and specifically Pablo who was representing the common media thought in the conversation, are as much of a problem as the NFL owners). I don't see many direct calls to action from one reporter to other reporters live on air commonly.

I've wondered this for a while so just gotta ask: Is your screen name Bad Gatorade because Powerade was taken? Because that's literally what I think every time I see you in a thread.

And to the group: Did anyone ever like Powerade or do you agree it's one of the worst beverages ever conceived of?

Since it's generally accepted that Patrick Mahomes is the best QB in the NFL, I'd like to know who you guys think is the second best? I feel like some people will say Lamar Jackson, other will say Russell Wilson, and some Aaron Rodgers. But am I crazy for thinking that Deshaun Watson is better than all of those guys? He's a deadly accurate passer, he can evade pressure, he's gritty, he can run well enough, etc.

I’d love to see Watson with a decent line or a decent play caller, both on the texans are absolutely terrible.

I think he certainly has the potential. I’d still have Wilson above him right now but that can change next season

Yes. You're very crazy. Watson has no consistency at all, meanwhile Russell shows up for 16 games and plays at an elite level and Lamar played at an elite level for like 14 of his 16 games last year. Watson is either playing better than everyone else in the league or like a bottom 5 QB.

I think the top 4 is undeniably Russ, Lamar, Brees, Mahomes and Watson is the clear 5th best QB but I don't see any argument for him in the top 4.

Brady, Ryan, Luck, Carr, and Brees were better that year if you ask me. Rodgers probably had the best WRs in the league. Of course at the time I didn't think so but I also thought he'd go back to playing more like he did in 2014 than 2015 and 2016.
