Everyone else angling for the 2nd seed as Brad and I KNOW we can take out the Bucks as the 4th seed.

Selfishly, i just hope we play the pacers again, so i have another short drive to a playoff game.

Indy isn’t particularly special, but its good enough for a 3night mini vacation centered around celtics playoff basketball.

Bankers life is smallish, but always has a good crowd.

I guess this only tangentially applies to the topic. I apologize

Might as well find out early. Plus we'd keep our 2nd rounder.

UPDATE

We lost to Jazz at home w JT double teamed, Kemba shooting like ****, Smart excessively shooting (& missing), no JB or GH, & garbage support.

Raps beat the Warriors the other day.
Pacers won.
Fortunately, the Pelicans beat the annoying Heat for us.

Raps 44-18
Celtics 42-20

Heat 40-23

Sixers 38-25
Pacers 38-25

2 L behind Raps.

ONLY 3 L ahead of Heat (be very careful)!

5 L ahead of Sixers & Pacers.

Need Pacers to finish in 6 seed - NOT Sixers.

3 more tough games immediately ahead - then 8 out of 9 easier games during March (including critical 3/20 game VS the Raps) - then 6 out of 8 tough games in April.
Raps have a similar amount of tough games left (see posts above).

Could end up 2 or 3 or even 4 seed.
Time to bring it.
GH back for OKC.
Do it!

https://www.nba.com/article/2020/03/07/brogdon-out-indefinitely-torn-hip-muscle

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana Pacers point guard Malcolm Brogdon will be out indefinitely with a torn left hip muscle, the team announced Saturday.

He is listed as week to week.

Brogdon left Wednesday’s game at Milwaukee with a sore left hip, did not return and missed Friday’s game at Chicago.

It’s yet another blow to the Pacers, who played without Doug McDermott (sore right big toe) on Friday and already have lost Jeremy Lamb with season-ending injuries to his left knee. Two-time All-Star Victor Oladipo also has missed four of the Pacers’ last six games with lower back and right knee ailments.

Hmmm.... talk me out of a ban for this and the one about us being solid with leads before 4 straight losses.

After terrible Brk and Okc losses imo it would be good to look at Mia schedule, not Toronto...because it looks we will need to protect 3rd seat.

What do you think exculpatory?
----------

Damn, I just looked at Mia schedule, it's really easy:

10 home
Lottery: ny, det, chi, cha, pho
Play: ind, okc, den, bos, tor

8 away
Lottery: @ny, @det, @chi, 2x@cha
Play: @ind, @bos, @mil

Probably it will be decided in head to head games, because we play them at home and away.

But looking at Mia schedule

Yep, Raps got the 2 seed locked up.

Lets just hope we hold onto #3 and Philly doesn't get 6.

Got to beat Bucks anyway. Raps are tough too esp at their own building. 4th seed ain't that bad. Pacers first round then sweet sweet revenge vs Bucks in ECSF. Maybe Heat or Sixers take out Raptors. We can beat anyone as long as we're healthy and playing as a team. #Team4thSeed

Pacers in rd 1 would be worst case scenario. Unfortunately with the latest choke jobs at home, it is far more likely then NOT. Not saying we'd lose , but I could see it going 6 or 7. They have the BIGS to dominate our frontcourt.... I would love to see the Nets in rd 1 and watch Kyrie soak it all in from the sidelines!

I think Philly would be worse if Embiid and Simmons are indeed back.

Ill agree to disagree, but the physicality of Indiana would be a tall task man. I rather take my chances with Philly, who is struggling as a team and they are slow offensively as well. We shall see, but obviously the 2 seed would be ideal....

Yeah. They've also suffered through injuries all season but are holding serve. Can't do anything but tip your hat to them. Nick Nurse is Coach of the Year.

Yup. We definitely don't deserve it with all the games we gave away this year. That nets game alone makes us unworthy of the 2 seed. I still can't get over that embarrassment.

Can someone with better IT skills than I possess (most of earthlings) post the final 20 or so games for Us, the Raps AND the Heat in a very easy to view format side by side or on top of each other. Our recent disastrous, embarrassing, & nauseating losing streak has left us 3 L behind the Raps & only 2 L ahead of the Heat - and the 4 seed is now in realistic play. Zoya, if you do it, thanks & please insert the correct dates - please do not use your Pacific Rim displays. Thanks.

I found the Heat Schedule.
You'll have to do the Stacking of Schedules, yourself though.
