Got the answer. YES.

Marcus Morris was the difference maker for the Lakers.

This thread is funny.

Clippers gave up a good wing defender for Morris while Lakers got the more unselfish Morris for free lol.

Kuzma sure helped secure the win. Not bad for an overrated player. He also made a shot. 3 of them in fact on top of the defense and rebounding.

The idea that this scrub can guard LeBron is so ridiculous that I can’t even say anything.

To be fair when he was in Detroit he was one of the best Lebron defenders. Ever since then Lebron has torched him tho

The reactions to the Marcus signing was one of the craziest things Ive witnessed this season. The way some ppl talked about it youd have thunk they just signed Jimmy Butler

I never understood why people thought Morris could check Lebron. Did people forget he used to get destroyed by Lebron when he was on the Celtics? SMH, go look up LBJ's #'s against those Celtics teams.

Trade:

Clippers get Morris.
Clippers send Harkless, Robinson, Clippers 1st and Det 2nd.

Ouch while the Lakers got Kief Morris for free.
Pelinka playing chess while Clippers playing with marbles.

“The Clippers cashed in their chips for the 2020 NBA championship today, trading away Moe Harkless, Jerome Robinson, their 2020 1st round pick, and a 2021 2nd round pick from Detroit, for Marcus Morris (and two open roster slots). “

Hot takes! Get your Hot Takes!

It's one game.

I don't like the Morris brothers but Marcus is clearly the better player.

I guess if we're judging by one game, then Bradley is a better offensive player than Lou Will right?

Morris provides excellent spacing and scoring for the Clippers if he can keep shooting 3s like that.

Clips now have 3 reliable guys they can throw at Lebron for 48 min, or drop that to 2 and let Kawhi save his energy for the offensive end. This doesn’t bode great for the Lakers.

Marginal? harkless is no where near as good as morris.

If he was shooting 36% from 3 I'd agree with you. But he's shooting 44% on 6 attempts a game. Thats elite level stuff being added to a top 3 team in the league.

Who is to say he is going to continue shooting .70ish% better from 3 than his career average for the rest of this season? Just last season he was only shooting .375% from 3.

(He never responded as usual)

Bradley is pretty awesome, don’t you think?

Defense and playing within his role as a knockdown shooter.

Pelinka took Swaggy P, Robert Sacre, Carlos Boozer and other assorted garbage and turned it into LeBron and AD. He took a bunch of **** and built it into the team that embarrassed the Clippers today. The same Clippers that GB says is a lock to win the title.

If that's screwing a team, I'm sure Lakers fans will take being screwed.

GB morons.

Imagine giving up assets for the crappy Morris when you could get the good one for free.

isn't that what this thread is? I mean "NO CHANCE" sounds like counting eggs before they hatch.

to address the Morris bro, I thought Marcus is the better O player but Kief is the better defensive player? and Kief isn't out there chucking shots likes Marcus even though he's also shooting nearly 40% from 3's prior to coming to LA, Marcus is no longer hitting like he's in NY and for every shot he takes is another shot Pg/Leoanrd CAN'T, so can work against LAC too.

 This haven't aged well, at least not so far after that loss yesterday. Morris is a good player, but very unstable, when he's with his head on the right place he does his thing right, but when his mood changes and that happens quite often and pretty easily, he sucks.
