Respectfully, these words have the same meaning. Vodka is water and ethanol - only. Everclear - grain alcohol - is various dilutions of ethanol and water. Whether the ethanol has a grain origin or not, chemically, it is all the same: Ethanol.

In the UK : vodka is now "gone". Lots of booze to be bought, but vodka is now hard to find on shelves. I assume people are making their own hand sanitiser.

Let me repeat: 37 - 40-% ethanol is not a good sterilising agent. You need to be in the 60 - 75% range.

The only reason Florida has cases of this virus because of people living in Florida that just came back from overseas. Nobody can come from overseas now so I expect the cases to drop in Florida within the next 2 weeks as the people that have it in Florida right now are either in their 1st or 2nd week of having this virus so assuming the virus don't kill them, their immune system will kill the virus or the virus will die itself in the human body.

I think they are only testing the people for the virus who are most likely to have it whether they came from overseas or have been in contact with someone that tested positive. If they are testing people who are not likely to have the virus, than they waste their tests.

If whole world was pro-active in January non of this would happen BUT that would require planning and losing money on purpose to stop potentially bigger treat , and in the world where only money matters, nobody took this serious until it started affect their pockets.
Countries , and even part of media downplayed whole thing and reported everything like it's happening on Mars , including countries close to China and Italy.
Ofc whole thing blew up right after.

Never drink that. It has toluene and benzenes additives (at >>0.01 %) to avoid alcohol taxation.

Good for fans, players won't accept it. This schedule allows them to have 4 summer months off.
Whole tv rating thing tends to go to s*** during summer because people don't sit at home all that much.

No, you were right before. Traditionally, Vodka the good stuff imo, was/is made with potatoes and Everclear a grain alcohol. Because of the price or availability of potatoes, they've been using a knockoff version with grain and other things to flavor it so it tastes like the real thing. The major difference is the yield. You can get a high yield using almost anything. Moonshiners here in TN will tell you that, anything can practically ferment and turn into alcohol. Everclear has specific properties and by definition to be a much higher proof than other spirits, That can be used as an antiseptic unlike the others. So, in case you are wondering, I'm a very good life line on game shows relating to anatomy, music, and alcohol, just give me a call. :D

The only reason any of us have this in our country is because of people coming from overseas, considering this thing originated in China. If everyone locked down for two weeks, you might be right, the virus could theoretically starve out. Or, at least able to get a major handle on the problem. That is, until it reared its ugly head again in the fall. The only thing that will protect us long term is either a: we all get exposed to it and build up our own antibodies, or b: we get a vaccine which introduces the pathogen in a smaller and safer dose, which also builds up our antibodies to it. I know you are trying to find hope, and I don't mean to dash that, but we just need to stick with the facts. In two weeks it will be worse, not better. We have enough in this country for all the community spread we need at this point. Serious decisions are going to have to be made, like we have been seeing thus far. Each one will continue to be more consequential however.

City of Orlando has banned alcohol sales at bars & restaurants to curb the spread. Stores that sell alcohol to take home can still sell.

Please be specific to your question.

If you are asking if ethanol distillation from potato fermentation is the same as ethanol distillation from grain distillation; the distillation process is repeated 3-fold leading to product that is ONLY two ingredients: ethanol and water. The fermentation origin does not effect the chemical properties of the product.

If there is sugar in it, it can be fermented. And from there, if there is alcohol in it, it can be distilled.

I don’t expect many if any to be interested in this. I would rather watch games from the 94-95 team instead of games I just watched over the last several months. Have to fill airtime I guess.

I don't think you have to worry about social distancing as much if your outside in the wide open like in this instance at the beach. Unless your actually right on top of someone or literally right next to someone. But now I wonder if someone could catch this virus in the ocean or a swimming pool if a person that has the virus goes into a swimming pool or ocean. i think in a swimming pool the chorline might kill the virus and the salt water in the ocean might kill the virus but i don't know if either is true.

So far nothing is confirmed about pools and water, we know for fact that bacteria like E. coli can be transmited in pools easly

Pool disinfectants can kill most germs in less than an hour, but for others it can take longer. Cryptosporidium, for instance, can survive for up to 10 days in a properly chlorinated pool, and other pathogens are completely resistant to chlorine. In addition, the unique circulation patterns found in pools may allow poor water circulation in some areas, making it unlikely that all pathogen activity can be fully prevented. The unfortunate truth is that chlorinated swimming pools can and do transmit disease.

Guys, you can't transmit this through water. Its about contact surfaces and close airborne transmission. But that? Is a terrible idea.
