One tip: work on your cardio.

Take this time to jog, walk, do jumping jacks burpees, etc.

If **** goes down and you need to run, you better be able to run.

(Its more a tip for zombies but i think its universal)

Shock hazard. It has to be within a few feet by code.

A coworker the other day said she has over 200 rolls of TP in her house. What the ****. I went to the grocery store the other day and overheard an old man that looked to be in his 70s asking the stock boy when they were getting more TP cause he only had a couple rolls left. The **** is wrong with these hoarders.

Theyll just starting paying people who arent sick more money to work. Costco, Walmart and Amazon will fork the cash out to have people operating their businesses until a government-mandated shutdown happens. Alot of people cant afford to stop working, even in a pandemic.

Amazon said they're already hiring more people to work in the warehouses to cope with the demand.

The government will not be shutting down supermarkets at any point. They know people need food. Supermarkets are also making a killing right now. A lot of people are afraid of losing their jobs right now, so I doubt that there will be a shortage of willing workers.

As for cashiers, there's barely any of them in stores anymore. They're not needed. Most stores have automated checkouts with one person supervising.

I don't have an outlet near my toilet. But I think I'll just go with the cheap non-electronic one once they come back in stock. I like the idea of warm water cleaning my ass, but they're expensive, and most of them only come with a 1-year warranty, which is a bit scary for something with so many potential points of failure.

The only thi g that you need to buy are the essentials for survival, I took a survival course classes online. I have read survival manuals from militaries around the world. In a pandemic you need a few things to keep you alive, non perishables foods, can foods,/MREs to last you at least 5 yrs or more, medicine, military grade cleaning agents, water, generator, renewable energy(sun, wind, water, geothermal) ammo/weapons and a bunker away from the big cities. If you don't have at least 5 of these the chances of your long term survival and of your families is next to none.

There's so much conflicting info out there, I don't want to steer you wrong. I'm under the assumption that you can leave your house as long as you avoid contact with other people.

If you live in an apartment or condo or something with high traffic areas with randos, I'd stay put unless you have the proper PPE.

It's a good suggestion for people to work on getting diets and exercise improved, within reason. Could make a difference in both seriousness of symptoms and preventing deaths. Stay off sugar and excessive booze at least.

Nobody actually needs toilet paper. Even if you had zero, the distance to the shower is nothing. Ok with zero paper maybe a minute of nasty, but ultimately much cleaner than with just paper.

Blue Jays have determined the buying isn't over yet (sorry):

The Toronto Blue Jays have added Joe Panik to their 40-man roster.

We're not going to run out of food or other essentials, even if this crisis drags on for a long time.

But it does make sense to have a a good amount of stores on hand so that you can limit your trips out if it comes to a shelter in place order.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."
