Meanwhile there are a countless number of idiots still downplaying this whole thing. I'm glad KAT is using his platform to raise awareness, hopefully he can knock some sense into those who aren't quarantining/practicing social distancing.

Science has failed our world...look at the COVID-19 response. terrible.
Yep prayers do little to nothing for those not listening for Christs voice and are predisposed to rejecting instead expecting lightning bolts from heaven to appear if there were a God that cared.
I have witnessed countless miracles myself and wasn't much of a believer before that, but I was seeking the truth and then I witnessed the miracles. Still was not sure, but after listening to the word, it made a lot more sense... it's easy to dismiss the possibility of a actual God if you are looking for the wrong thing.

Example : a relative was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma which had already moved into her lungs and was given a short time to live so although being an agnostic her whole life and therefore not being a church goer since high school she reluctantly agreed out of desperation and approached the alter during a church revival after I invited her to come and we asked for healing since like most of us she wanted to live , and was anointed with oil and instantly felt a unexplained energy pass through her. She returned for a follow up doctors appointment the next day and he got mad at his staff because he thought they had given him the wrong lab results. Her cancer was completely gone.
She has been cancer free for 13 years. Never misses church and has brought hundreds of lost souls to Christ by her testimony including her children who were hateful towards organized religion prior.
so yeah prayer might not work for you , but you are not the authority on it in your little bubble of discontent.

I wouldn't say they do nothing. They do nothing for the person they're sent to, of course, but they do make the person sending them feel better.
