None of these guys are sure things. I see serious flaws in all of them.

If a low ceiling guy like Haliburton ends up having the best career then this will likely be one of the worst drafts in NBA history (likely the 2000 draft which saw Kenyon Martin as the 1st overall pick and Michael Redd as the only other guy that really did anything sustained and productive in the NBA).

Jamal Crawford won a couple 6th man awards. I don't know if it qualifies as productive but probably on par with Redd and his career lasted a lot longer than those two.

This draft is pretty week. I'm not sold on Edwards. His shooting percentages are pretty low for a scoring guard. Yes, he's a big, strong guard; he has a lot of strength, but lots of guys do in the NBA. Ball hasn't been challenged by good NBA-caliber guards yet so we'll have to wait to see how his unique game translates to the NBA. The best prospect is Wiseman. After him, this draft is pretty weak.

One of the worst drafts in recent memory -- very weak talent in this years crop.

In an age of 3point supremacy -- top 3 projected picks are sub par ( Ball / Edwards / Wiseman )

Look for teams to possibly trade down ( you could see all top 3 picks being traded down ).

There will be diamonds in the ruff in the later half of this draft ( into the 2nd round ).

Obi Toppin is a BEAST in college ... but in today's game of finesse / infinite range, it maybe a challenge of that pure power / raw athleticism to make the smooth transition over to the pros ( see Jahlil Okafor )

Comparing Obi Toppin to Jahlil Okafor is actually hilarious; have you watched Toppin play!? He's a dynamic 4 with shooting range and elite athleticism. Jahlil Okafor was a big stiff.. Be honest: you just read that Kevin O'Connor article where he compared the two and are regurgitating it here

It's between Toppin and Avdija.

Ball, Edwards and Wiseman are being pitched as high-ceiling prospects while looking like fools gold to me.

Sorry Warriors fans but there is no Tim Duncan in this year's draft; I've been hearing this from Warriors fans all around town. The Warriors wouldn't know how to develop a Duncan if they drafted him. ("Hey Timmy...we can't promote you as one of the splash brothers if you keep banking those mid-range jumpers. And for the love of white Jesus, get with the program and set more picks above the 3-point line!") Again with West gone, the Warriors lack the ability to identify great talent and the org to develop such talent. They're better off trading the pick, IMO, for a veteran. They need to win now because their core players have already started to crack physically.

LOL - Good call - yes I did read the Oconnor article and referenced Okafor -- but in hindsight, Toppin could be the next Shawn Marion ( could go either way ).

Yes, Marion is a far better comparison for Toppin than Jahlil. If Toppin ends up in the right system, look out - he is going to be a star. Praying to God he falls to my sorry a** Bulls

Agreed - if he gets in the right system, look out! He will be solid where ever he lands -- good luck in the draft!

Landing Arturo from the Nuggets is a coup for the Bulls -- hopefully he makes the right coaching changes to bring the most out of the current roster.

Toppin has a better shot now than Marion ever had at any time in the NBA is the difference and Marion was a perennial all star and all defensive guy
