- First overall pick with a star available.
- Four first round picks in the top 15.

I do like the Dragic comp. He also has about a couple inches and 20-25 lbs on dragic as well. Has a bit of Manu in terms of not being the best athlete but his ability to get into the paint consistently and his ability to finish.
He's a bit too lefty dominant but isn't everyone at the of 18.
He also projects probably the best next to RJ long term as well being the higher upside. Haliburton might fit the best but I do think he has a bit of a limited upside.
I think the thing that separates Hayes from the other PG prospects is his ability to shoot of the dribble and he already has an NBA step back jumper.

Manu's athleticism was ...interesting. He was "tricky" athletic. He could unleash a ferocious dunk in traffic when it was least expected. He had (situational) ups, lateral quickness, flexibility, and the strength to absorb contact and still finish above the rim. If Hayes is that level we could do a hell of a lot worse.

But still....that is a big miss.
Although I don't think Hayes at #1 is a stretch in this draft, since I had him #2.

at the time culver was playing out of his ass. I would like to see how there ranking had them prior to the draft because for the draft analysis they gave Memphis an A for Morant for the #2 pick and they gave Minnesota a B for the Culver @ #6 pick.
I think the touney gave teams that reassurance that Morant wasn't just a product of playing in a horrible conference in high school gyms. He had two huge games against Marquette and Florida State...which I think solidified him right after Zion.

I mean it's a good read...I agree with some, and not others. Just saying, some of their rankings can be off and dont always pan out..like everyone else in the draft though...they seem to be more out there sometimes with some of their rankings (Terry #8?). They also left some guys out too like Tre Jones. Not sure if they are just not high on them or maybe mistakenly left out?
Still a good read and all though.
