I get a good feeling about this guy. The same type of feeling that I got when the Seahawks drafted Chris Carson in the 7th round. Not saying that he will be as productive as Carson but I feel that he will contribute in some manner for the Seahawks once he gets in their program and starts to develop. If he plays WR I can see him dropping 10-12 pounds in order to gain some more speed. That phone call was pure amazing emotion...he said put my name up there (on the tv screen). lol

Love the guy. But I think it's time to turn the page honestly. He's all but done. Stick with the young guys. DeeJay Dallas is an intriguing prospect. Carson should be ready to go. Penny might unfortunately have to start the season on PUP.

Not a big fan of that schedule. Four early games, early bye and ending @49ers. Key stretch will be going 3-0 in the easy part of the schedule from weeks 13-15 and then we’ll have to likely at least split one of the last two.

It's okay. They went 4-0 last year in 10 am games. Not a problem.

An early bye isn't ideal. But they have like a mini-bye between weeks 11/12. It could be worse.

Who knows what to make of a Wilson backup these days... i hope we don't have to find out, but I'm sure we wouldn't have resigned him if he wasn't beneficial in ways. Obviously he hasn't stuck many places, but in this roll with this long to learn the offense, perhaps we can say he's at least better than Trent Dilfer, which didn't work out for the Ravens and Trent mfing Dilfer.

The 29-year-old Hyde is an experienced back who’s coming off one of the best seasons of his career. He rushed for over 1,000 yards on 245 carries with the Houston Texans

One would assume that Hyde is projected to be Carson’s lead backup at least until Penny returns.
