Mario Gotze will leave Borussia Dortmund this summer on a free transfer.
\"This week I had a long and clarifying discussion with Mario. We agreed that we will not continue our collaboration after this season,\" said Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc.
The 27-year-old Gotze returned to Dortmund from Bayern Munich in 2016, though has struggled to reclaim a starting role.
