I'm guessing every team has to face the playoff teams they had remaining. Raptors had won 4 in a row while Giannis was gimpy and the Bucks lost 3 in a row. Statement games vs LAL and Milwaukee. Should be fun. Raptors are #3 overall and defending champs. Not scared here.

Trust in Nurse that he's game planned for all possible playoff matchups and ready to make adjustments. Raptors will be fin in any 7 game series. :D

Why? Aren't they seeded 1-16 after the play-in tourney?

Nope, East vs West

Getting 2 seed is important in first round (rather play Nets/magic then Philly) but also 2nd round. If we can best Nets in 5 games and get rested while Boston is in a 7 game battle with Sixers could be key to round 2 as well.

We're 3 games ahead with 8 games left. We shouldnt lose the 2 seed. We need to win like 2 games to be in decent shape for it, and more likely 4 to be confident.

The stage is set. It's Raptors vs Lakers for the finals, but then on the day of game 1, an announcement. "LeBron James has tested positive for Covid-19." Raptors go on to win, but California is all, "Well you wouldn't have won if LeBron played."

Would be thankful that sold their souls for this fortune.

Skinny Minny Marc! He looks like he could be playing above the rim again and the weight loss should help his legs stay healthy. Hope he's been practising his three point shot 24/7

Gasol is the best. Good on him for getting shredded during this off time. He transformed his body. Must have lost 30 pounds. His hamstring issues might have been bc of too much weight.

All I know is I hope our team sit our guys vs the heat. That team tries to injure our guys. I've looked at our schedule and tbh I like it. It preps us well for playoffs we can't be goin in thinking we got no flaws, need some confidence for sure though. Just try to win enough games to secure 2nd seed and potentially rest some guys vs a team like the heat, bucks.

We know. Per NBA.com:

"The NBA Board of Governors today [Jun 4] approved a competitive format to restart the 2019-20 season with 22 teams returning to play and a tentative start date of Friday, July 31....

The season restart would begin with eight 'seeding games' for each returning team and include the possibility of a play-in tournament for the eighth and final playoff seed in each conference depending on combined records across regular-season games and seeding games. Once the 16-team playoff field is set, the NBA Playoffs would proceed in a traditional conference-based format with four rounds and best-of-seven series in each round.

Also its freaking BS that the Raptors had an easy regular season schedule remaining and then they screw us by giving us the hardest when Play resumes... :noway:

The format is better than just going to playoffs.
NBA wanted to put a plan where they can actually make more revenue than just from the playoffs, and i see no reason why they shouldn't.

Plus teams might be cold if they went straight tob playoffs. Teams can use it as warm up games & play some teams remaining on the schedule.

Some teams will make out better than some.

Tough..its Rona.

Would each team's normal broadcast crew provide commentary for the games or would it be a split between TNT/ESPN/ABC/NBATV? Could see them wanting to capitalize and broadcast every single game on major networks since there's nothing to show anyway.
