Bey and Vassell are nice, I'd trade down for those two. Nobody has two lottery picks though so it's not realistic.

Trading our pick to Minny for their top 7 pick and #16 would get them Vassell and Bey if that’s what they really wanted to do.

Personally, if I did that deal with Minny, I’d take Haliburton and one of Vassell, Bey or Nesmith. Haliburton can guard 1-3, is an excellent passer and can shoot and gives them versatility to play behind Curry or next to him. Then you go get one of the wings.

7 and 16 isn't enough for a top 3 pick imo. Maybe if we had the 4th or 5th pick and Minny wanted to jump up to grab someone.

True, but I’d guess 7, 16 & 33 would be (unless we have #1 overall). Then we could package 16 & 33 to move up a couple of spots and snag the wing we prefer. I actually like Nesmith better than anyone not named Edwards & Wiseman in this draft. So I’d actually take him #7 and Bey or Lewis at #16 (assuming Vassell & Haliburton are gone).

You’re probably right, I was just stating a hypothetical. 7/16 would get you Vassell and Bey if that’s what you really wanted.

They should give us the 7,16, 33 and waive the top-3 protection in 2021 :eyebrows:

I like the Vassel kid. I could see the Warriors trying to get two mature draft pieces like Vassel and Obi Toppin instead of taking one higher risk reward player at 1 or 2. Maybe they trade down to 5-15 and try and nab two players.

Do like Vassel, don't like Toppin.
