I'm done with all of them now that Art's has been sold. I didn't even get to make a counter offer.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

A local pizza joint has started selling frozen pizzas to help with the lack of traffic the last few months. I bought a few, including their special. Had it last night and I finally realized what I hate about most veggie pizzas. It’s not the taste. It’s that they retain so much **** moisture. Here I’ve got this nice pie with everything crisp and toasty, and then you’ve got these shrooms and peppers wetting the entire experience up.

I think COVID-19 walked up in there acting like it owned the place before quickly realizing that more dangerous viruses claimed that territory a long time ago.

Were they canned mushrooms? I can't stand canned shrooms. Slimey pieces of garbage.

Making ribs today and I needed a sauce, so I asked my mom if she had a go-to. She swore she'd given this to me before (she hadn't). She says she's been using it since she got the recipe from a professional ribs person back in '82.

I made it today and it's **** legit.

1/4 stick of butter
Whole onion, diced
12 ounce bottle of chili sauce
Bottle of Hienz hot ketchup
1 1/2 T worchestershire sauce
1 1/2 T cidar vinegar
1/4 cup liquid smoke
1/2 T salt
1 T MSG
1/8 tsp cayanne
1 lb dark brown sugar

Put in all in a sauce pan and let it simmer for an hour.

Happy Father's Day everyone. If you are a dad that's fantastic, it's great to be a dad. And I hope you all had a chance to connect with your dad one way or another. Appreciate him while you can. Mine passed away 12 years ago. Watching and going to games with him are some of the best times of my life.

I strongly prefer canned to fresh. Probably a weird take, but there it is.

This is my 2nd Father's Day without my dad. Him slaving away over the grill (he wouldn't let anyone near it) while we watched the final round of the US Open was one of my favorite days of the year. Unfortunately I didn't realize quite how much I enjoyed it until he was gone.

Like MD said, appreciate the old man while you can because he'll be gone someday.

The ones on my pizza were fresh, hence all the moisture.

Djokovic just tested positive. I know the idea for his charity event came from a good place, but it was such a bad idea. It could have been seen in a better light if it was without fans and players stayed apart (literally on their sides of the court), but neither of those things happened to my knowledge/pictures show. Both he and Dimitrov have tested positive and were at the event.

Oye.

ETA: 3 players and 2 coaches have tested positive so far.

Wait, seriously? I didn't see that.

What a dope. He turns around and criticized the US Open for planning to proceed (which is fine, but it's two-faced with his actions).

He was opposed to COVID-19 vaccinations two months ago. He's a noted anti-vaxxer. I'm not particularly sympathetic to this dumbass.
