Heat Wants To Pair Victor Oladipo With Giannis Antetokounmpo In 2021

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Jun 22, 2020 3:23 pm

The Miami Heat are expected to pursue both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Victor Oladipo in 2021 free agency.

Miami's interest in Oladipo was first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The Indiana Pacers acquired Oladipo in 2017 from the Oklahoma City Thunder.

And I want to pair a McLaren 720S with a Porsche 918 Spyder in 2021. Neither one is gonna happen. Other alternative headlines:

Butler wouldn't be involved in a hypothetical sign-and-trade for Giannis, let alone any star player. Doing so would tarnish Miami's reputation as a franchise, considering Jimmy chose to sign with them in free agency. It will have to involve Herro, Nunn, Robinson, Bam, etc, if it does go the S&T route.

A lot can happen over the next 365 days. There was a period of time in early 2009 when nobody could even imagine the possibility of Lebron leaving the Cavaliers for another team. If you don't recall, that was the season the Cavs won 66 games and won dominantly in the first round. How could a home-grown hero walk away from that?

Yet, we know of the disaster that took place in Cleveland only a mere 14 months later.. despite the fact that Cleveland once again won over 60 games the following season and looked as dominant as ever.

If the performance of the Bucks is of that which is 'underwhelming' this coming postseason and next postseason, and the Bucks fail to make the finals both times, I certainly wouldn't discount the possibility of a disgruntled Giannis getting pryed away from the team he once loved dearly.

You cannot tell me another exit at the hands of the Raptors, or even the Celtics or Miami for that matter, over the next 2 calendar playoffs doesn't spark the probability of Giannis bouncing.

People need to stop dreaming about Adebayo. The trade would be Herro,Nunn and picks for giannis unless they want nothing back or Oladipo which shouldn’t cost much. Robison ain’t going nowhere either. The heat can also go different route and offer just Herro to a team with salary cap if neither pacers or bucks want to trade, then sign bam which cap hold would be $15m
Base on $121m cap
Giannis $34.5m
Jimmy $36m
Dipo $25 for 5 years if regained form s n trade. 4 year if he wants higher salary which I doubt
$5m mcrobert extretch provision
Total $100m
$4.9m to get to Robison which cap hold is really low then bam
Jimmy
Oladipo
Robison
Giannis
Bam boom

If heat can have Oladipo Giannis and Butler believe me Adebayo will be gone if required hell if its just was Giannis.. Problem for Heat is they have no cap space they will have to do a sign and trade to make it work.. I doubt this happens anyway..
