Buyout issues aside, I could see that being a positive for Euroleague vets who want to come In & actually see minutes on good teams.

Wouldn't they just use this as an excuse to re-do when the NBA season typically runs? Start on Christmas Day, and run through the summer?

I’d hope so.

Somebody else is going to claim Hartenstein, but we should just in case.

His G-league numbers kinda make be feel simpish for being so optimistic about Dragan Bender. Wilt of the Rio Grande. D’Antoni was never a fan but that’s probably a lot of system bias.

I'd be down with DJ+ Indy pick for Josh Hart.

Bringing back Bender could be another possibility for the Bucks. A waiver claim for Hartenstein is first choice though, just in case he's slips to us.

Hartenstein, Patton, or Bender all sound good to me
Shoot, Move, and Communicate...

I don't see it with Hart. Lots of glimpses, but I don't think he'll ever put it together (at least not in a sense where it makes it worth investing in him). Though on the other hand that price wouldn't be steep at all.

I don't think any of these 3 helps us now (Hartenstein seems like the most ready of those 3) but especially Hartenstein and Bender with their passing could be nice pieces going forward. If we're going for one of these 3 I'd appreciate longer contracts that give us lots of control. Otherwhise we're probably better off getting a fringe vet.

Patton's also a good passer.

I have to be honest I'm not super familiar with Patton post draft. But during the draft process I wasn't super impressed with his passing.

Like em said Patton is a good passer (and a good 3pt shooter) but I agree get them on a 3 year deal for cheap to develop them To replace Lopez eventually

Think it’d be cool to offer Adams & Jones next year’s two way spots if they don’t have better options. Shows future players the Herd are a destination that’ll reward your play & further your career. Also brings back the core of league’s best team.

I may be mistaken but aren't Mason & Reynolds still under contract for next year? Maybe the cut Reynolds but I can't see them cutting Mason

The might be, but two ways are always team options I think. I’d expect Mason to want out of his & Reynolds not to be asked back.

Apparently the Pistons signed Patton. What a desperate franchise. It was such a short time ago that we were where they are.

No chance Frank Mason doesn’t get a fully guaranteed deal from Detroit.

Don’t wanna **** with karma, chemistry or the basketball gods, but I think Lance Thomas would be a more useful body to throw on big wings for a few minutes than Sterling Brown. Certainly more useful than Thanasis. Probably would hold off though.

I feel like Mason has earned the 16th spot, not sure who I'd give 17 to. Would look at Hartenstein, Ellenson, William Howard from the G League. If we go with a Herd guy, I'd go Adams or even Hogg ahead of Cam.
