Knicks Claim Jared Harper, Waive Kadeem Allen

The New York Knicks have claimed Jared Harper on free agency wavers while waiving Kadeem Allen.

Both Harper and Allen were on Two-Way contracts.

The Phoenix Suns waived Harper this week.

Waived by the suns. Why pick him up. makes no sense.. Translation if hes not good enough to help the suns he couldn't help anyone

Couldn’t agree with you more, I’d rather play Kadeem over dsj honestly.

The little bit I saw of Allen last season I was pleasantly surprised. He seemed like a gamer. I guess the real knock on him is that he’s undersized.

I have no idea who this other guy is.

Bring in an undersized PG that can’t shoot and dump the one PG who can shoot and plays D. Change for change’s sake, likely driven by some relationship to one of our five power brokers. Bad omen.

i hear all the backlash. and i don't like to play into youth above all.

but one player will be in his age 28 season and the other his age 23. i like kadeem, but he's a bit of a known commodity at this point, while maybe jared harper has more room to grow.

My mistake I for some reason forgot the Knicks aren’t going to Orlando and that their season is basically over this year.
