then fine I will step up to the plate if you wont because I have belief.

Frank will get a 2nd contract from the knicks.

aight. go get him mph.

Spoiler:
You're probably wrong since Frank fell out with CAA and the reports were he thought they didn't generate enough subsidiary income, because they just didn't care. I suspect Leon Rose shanks him as soon as he can.

people change agents all the time. I believe it was a pretty amicable split and Rose had nothing but positive words to say about Frank. He was just more comfortable being repped by a French agent. No ill will there.

Yeah, sure, Frank may have been more comfortable with a French agent, especially who has repped Gobert, Fournier etc (iirc). But did you check the link to the story about what pushed him to change that I posted? Direct conflict with CAA as underperforming for him in contrast to USians of his generation in terms of finding sponsorship deals etc. No one showed their wounds going out of the deal - everyone was too grown up - but I don't believe it was in truth amicable.

I expect Rose to trade him as soon as he gets some reasonable return just to clear house. It's going to be (mainly) the CAA Knicks from now.

Great post. Probably the best post of June. For me the point of posting in a forum like this is that we can have 'serious' arguments about (trivial) things ... happenstances about the Knicks .. whilst making a little fun of each other for the foibles we assume - based on our belief in the good faith of our interlocutors, engendered by those serious-trivial conversations.

That's a pompous way to say that reasonable online communities are close to: good friends talk with each other and joke with each other, and enjoy both.

He will be when he moves to Dallas. ;)

I, of course, have absolutely no idea if the story is true/rooted. But moving away from CAA because they didn't fulfill things that Frank expected wouldn't necessarily mean that he would expect the next agent to do those things. (Eg, an obvious example is that it could be possible that the French agent would generate more European sponsorship deals. And one can think of other way of telling the story.)

I highly doubt we were going to keep Trier anyway, it's just a damn shame it's another wasted asset. It's not as if Trier was anything special, but he was a damn good microwave scorer that had the making of a really good consistent bench piece. He could shoot the three, handle the ball some and got buckets when ISO was needed.

That’s a pretty valid point. If you say you agree with anything our front office does you’ll usually ridiculed. I’m not saying 99%, but something like 70% feels right. That said, when you never win more than 35 games you give naysayers a lot of credibility and ammunition.

I'd like to get the FIBA Frank jersey that says Ntilikina with the Gauloises sponsorship logo on it if you know where to buy one

Teams that should go after Trie and if they don’t, Trier should approach:

TOR
MIL
LAL

Best of luck. Never made sense that he didn’t play considering how trash we’ve been during his tenure.

Pinson showed a decent all around game in college and hopefully some of it translates for us.

Ok Leon and crew, I see you out here making moves. I remember Pinson from UNC. He was touted coming in and never really blew up for them. He was however a key glue guy and their primary playmaker during the National Championship run. Reading up on the kid he has come from a winning background leading his team to 2 state titles before winning at UNC.

He is a great athlete with advanced ball handling and vision in the open court. He has always been more of a slasher but If that 3 ball has come along which has shown flashes, he might be able to stick as a bench piece.
