True, and I loved Ja all year. Think there are some big differences though. Obi is 22 already, where as Ja and Onyeka are/were 19. They had completely different games too. Ja's game combined with athletiscm looked like it would fit in great into the NBA and translate right over. I just don't see that with Obi....and just the way he got abused on defense even against weak teams is pretty concerning to me.
Onyeka, just looks like he has a lot more room to get better. Moves better on the perimeter. Can be a plus on both ends...his jumper may even come around as it doesnt look that bad and he was able to hit free throws.
I won't disparage Yek. He was a guy I was looking at drafting when I still had the Grizzlies pick. Obi seems like a more natural 4 and I have him slightly ahead on my big board. I do think his offense will translate.
