2019-2020 College/Draft thread (Part 6) -LOTTO 8/20 DRAFT 10/16!

There was a video I've seen on Hayes recently and it had some highlights I've never seen. Will try to find it again if I can but I wasn't it showed some things that made me feel a lot better about the possibility of drafting him than I was earlier on. I still don't see him as a better prospect than Cole but I definitely see him as a good enough prospect to warrant a selection. I like his character and work ethic also.

Killians work ethic and character from what I have read about is exceptional. And while he makes some wild passes the fact that at 18 he has the gall to even try and thread the needle impresses me. I’m also a very big fan of a young guard trying to perfect a modern NBA guard move, case in point the step back 3. It’s looked beautiful at times and even though it’s the homeless version of the Harden step back the mere fact that he’s comfortable doing that says something. Not to bring up Frank because I refrain from doing so at all costs but he never even showed glimpses of Killians offensive repertoire. Cole or Killian and I am ready to support them fully.

I kinda like him more than some of the lotto guys ranked ahead of him.

Love Ramsey and hope we can get him at 27. He’s one badass dude.

I'm a Ramsey fan as well; according to thestepien he was in the 91st percentile for catch and shoot (in the half-court). ideally we can come out of this draft w/ a couple of solid shooters to help space the floor for RJ

He seems easy to root for at the end of the day. Unlike Lamelo, who I simply do not and probably never will like.

fair, I think having a father who played professionally probably really helped Killian. Same way RJ speaks about his father being so influencial. Not saying that is a requirement of being a good player because its not but having that knowledge and experience on what type of hard work its takes to play at that level...RJ and Killian seem to have great work ethics and when you attached that with talent you have a god chance to get a good young player.

That will make two starters who you are hoping can learn how to go right and they are now in the NBA. This isn't college. I'd rather have someone, yes, like Haliburton, who can step in and at least give us a little of everything along with a lot of flexibility.

Are we going to at least have some semblance of a NBA draft combine or individual workouts to test these guys? I'm not saying your wrong about Hayes but all of these guys seems to missing something at least at this young age, which makes it very difficult to prognosticate their future NBA careers.

I like Haliburton, but he struggles going left. A lot of young players are not good with their off hand. I still like both players a lot though as I think its something they can both improve.

Does it make a big difference if we have 2 lefties/3 righties vs 1 lefty/4 righties on the floor?

Ok, it was just watching highlights, but this kid really looks like the real deal. He'd be an EXCELLENT get at 27. I wonder if even lasts that long.

Tough, physical as hell, obviously can shoot - great form, but also love how he cuts, moves off screens etc.

Just seems smart, tough, can shoot, knows what he is doing out there.

yeah, i'd be excited about either hayes or halliburton. and it seems like we'll most likely be in line for one of them even if we drop some.

dropping to 10 probably puts us in cole territory though. i think for a 10th pick, that's not a bad get... but not who i want.

this draft is so flawed every prospect has a huge question mark attached to them.

i'm just avoiding the lavar ball circus **** show, last thing we need is lavar blaming rj for lamelo's lack of spacing or saying Mitchell isn't anything without lamelo

if they are on different sides of the court why does both going left matter? One in theory would attack baseline and one would attack the middle of the court if they were on different sides.
