1 assist off, and he went 10-28 to get 25 points. He literally went 2-9 with RJ matched up on him. Those two shots made were also contested fade away long 2s. **** if RJ got 28 shots a game, would we as fans be just as much on his nut sack.

He's a casual fans dream. Once you go in depth on him you see things for what it is. I usually don't label guys as empty stats and stat padders but this kid fits the description of that so well it's hard not to. He's the main reason I want us to stay away from a top 3 pick because we will feel pressured into taking him but we really need to stay far far away.

Is this a "Eat Crow" collage? I will gladly eat it if LaMelo shoots over 40% and has less than 3 turnovers/Game in his first season. Let's be real. Otherwise. He can't live up to this player the media and this entire website (not pointing at you specifically; I can't remember if you're a LaMelo stan or not.) has made him out to be. People are hyping him up to be some can't miss prospect. He just ain't it. fair enough, I think he will do that btw. his ast/to ratio was good in the nbl even with high usage

also the 3 to/game is pretty arbitrary, if you look at players who averaged over 3 it's mostly the best players in the nba so in a vacuum that really doesn't mean anything
