Capn, I want SGA, I have Embiid. We can make something happen. Embiid is SHAQ in '01 in the sim and in his prime.

That is where the value of rookie contract extensions comes in. Locking up Luka, etc on the cheap helps you build around those players even if you have to spend a little.

but yes you already took care of Ayton because you drafted him.

the advantage you will have is there bird rights when they are both free agents in 2 years...the question will be...how high will you go???

If anybody is interested my 39th pick this year is for trade if they want an extra draft spot.

Very specific but looking for a cheap but decent shooter (pref a SG/SF $14 or less) on a 2-3 year deal. 1 year only if they're legit. Obviously only for people who have depth already or want a pick in the draft.

It will be but some will have to make it through the cracks. Especially with the teams that have 2-3 top tier players. Unless the team either goes over the cap (which hasn't been done before) because it completely hampers that team from signing or drafting anyone.

Or it just gets to a point where it would hamper the team to bring him back. Everyone has a limit where it would be insane to bring that player back at that price.

One thing I'm curious if we will address at some point, the majority of the league are set to become free agents in two years. Any player that originally got a five year deal will be free agents, if you want to talk about a possible bloodbath, in two years we're talking about absolute mayhem. It'll be like 7 royal rumbles going on simultaneously.
