Dion Waiters was better than we thought he would be for us and people realized he got game. Some people will always have their flaws but its like there is no escaping the Heat doghouse, nobody ever bounces back from there.

You could always create a new nba league pass account, it offers a 7day trial and it only costs 25 dollars for the whole nba restart plus the playoffs of course, if you just want the trial you could always cancel the subscription as soon as you activate it.

As a matter of fact, you could use a new email Everytime until the end of the playoffs :lol:

“Here’s what happened: When the Heat decided to trade three future second-round picks to Indiana for the 32nd selection, Miami did it with the intent of selecting Stanford forward KZ Okpala, who was the highest-rated player on Miami’s board. Indiana had obtained that draft pick from Phoenix in a trade earlier Thursday.

“After making that selection of Okpala, the Heat quickly decided that it did not want, or need, a second second-round pick. So Miami immediately dealt that pick — which had been acquired on Wednesday from Atlanta — to Denver, according to a league source. That happened long before the 44th pick was on the clock.

“When the Heat selected Bol Bol at 44, it was making that selection for the Nuggets because Miami had agreed, about 20 minutes earlier, to trade that selection to Denver without any knowledge of who would be available at 44, and with no desire to add a second second-round pick to its roster.”

No idea why he wasn't a gamble/project we could take on. The FO needs to own it and learn from this mistake. You don't just give away a pick 20 mins before you actually select a player???

When we got closer to our pick and all our guys were on the board, I was ready for Bol if Nassir wasn't our pick. Would have been happy with that. Then we picked Herro, and I thought, "Well, the org knows better than I ever will how good these guys are...kid should be good".

When Bol made it to the 2nd round, I started wondering what the heck was going on. We then traded into the round. Bol was coming! Nope. KZ. Was happy with that as well. Good potential. Smart player. Nice length. Good.

Then when we selected Bol, I went crazy. How good was that to get the guy I would have been fine with at 13, in the middle of the 2nd round?!

Then all hell broke loose. Was it Rapaz that broke the news? Funny that I still remember it today.

That was very exciting and memorable 2 minutes while we had him. It must have been Rapaz who broke the news.

2nd round is where you find a rare unknown pokemon, Jokic and Draymond of the world and Bol fits the bill nicely. He sure looks fragile, but if there is a guy with lotto potential at 44th pick, you don't just be content with what you got and walk away.

Denver got MPJ with 14th pick and Bol for free in last 2 seasons. Epitome of low risk high reward moves on a pretty good team.
