7/24 3:30PM, Sixers vs Grizzlies Scrimmage

Yes, in a few hours NBC Sports Philly will be broadcasting the live scrimmage game between the Sixers and Grizzlies.

Who wants to set the odds on Simmons attempting a 3 today?

Personally, I'm really looking forward to the "new" lineup with Shake handling the ball a lot more on offense running a plethora of PnRs with Simmons and others while knocking down many 3 balls.

I'm hoping to see a Shake, Richardson, Korkmaz, Horford, Embiid lineup. I think there will have to be a Horford Embiid pairing at some juncture.

I could put the odds of the Ben three higher than most games. I think a scrimmage with no fans really improves the odds.

I am really looking forward to seeing how the Glen Rob, Burks, Shake, Thybulle, and Furkan look. I assume a healthy Josh Rich locks in as the starter, so he Tobias, Ben, and Joel should have big minutes locker in. Mike Scott and Hortford will get some mins.

Projecting mins and roles for the five above will be interesting. Shake starting and playing a lot of point will get him a solid 25 mins when the real games start. Glen Rob can possible pay a few positions in small ball lineups.

Thybulle should be great defense and an average three ball.

Burks and Furkan probably have the most unpredictable roles.

Anyone know how to watch this if you do not live in Philadelphia?

This is my Summer League. I'm more excited to see some Shayok and Zhaire based on how earlier games have gone in these exhibition games.

I kind of feel like Burks, Furk and Grob will all be getting intermittent minutes based on who's got the hot hand. I actually like that we now have a bunch of bench guys who can get hot. I think starters will only play 20 minutes or so today so we should get a good look at these fringe players today.

Pretty sure all scrimmages are being televised on NBA Leaguepass.

I'm sure there will be some streams out there you can find as well but I never have much luck with those.

Finally, Youtube.tv and Sling both have Philly Sportsnet in their local tv package. HOWEVER, the apps will check if you're in the Philly area before allowing you to view those stations. There may be ways to deal with that(VPN location spoofing) although I've never tried it myself

Jaren should defend Ben and just sag off him and play zone under the rim
