Yea, if Ben shoots 2-3 threes a game and hits 30+%, I like our chances in the playoffs. It changes our outlook considerably.

I know Korkmaz's defense still is bad, but he absolutely should be in the 8 man playoff rotation. His gravity and ability to put the ball on the deck to attack closeouts and create open shots and spacing for the other guys on the floor is important. He creates a lot of hockey assists. I think the beat writers harp way too much on his defense.

The starters + Al + Thybulle + Korkmaz should get the lions share of minutes in the postseason.

I think he's best suited as a 9th or 10th man in the early rounds that gets put in storage during the money rounds against truly great teams. Bad defender, insufficient creator and inexperienced.

Horford and Thybulle seem like no brainer 6th and 7th men. Given the creating abilities that Burks possesses, I think he'd be a better option than Korkmaz for that final rotation spot. He's flawed as well, but when in doubt, go with the superior shotcreator.

You are so ungrateful to the korklord.
Prepare to feel his wrath!

If Korkmaz demonstrates an elevated level of play, I don't have a problem riding out the hot hand. In general, I just don't like his player archetype for playoff basketball.

I tend to agree that Burks may continue to get time, based mainly on the ideals that Brett wants to start playing with. But he has to show an elevated level as well. I tend to trust Kork more right now to at least earn sometime, just based on this team's need for shooting; I think he garners enough respect from 3, even if he's not making them

We have so many options now it feels great, early in the season our bench looked horrible, now we can mix and match a 10 man lineup and almost always have a + lineup out there (embiid plus 3 or 4 bench guys) so excited for the playoffs!

I'm less worried about the Kork/Burks battle (I think they'll both play) than I am with the Scott/Robinson battle. If GRIII plans on being a tenured NBA player then he better be able to beat Scott out for rotation minutes. Hopefully he understands this.

I would just hope that neither Scott or Robinson would play in a meaningful game. One of the big benefits of Simmons at the PF spot and bringing Horford off the bench is that it eliminates the need to play guys like that at all.

I see that benefit, but even with Ben and Al I'd still expect a 12-15mpg role for a 3rd forward, especially against certain match-ups.

If they catch on from the 3pt line. If not, why?

I think they’d just plug in Harris + Horford at the 4 when Ben’s not in.
