He has to be gone in the offseason right? Gotta strike while that contract is cheap. Might attach him to Al or something.

That’s losing 2 of our top 6 guys with us still not having cap space. You really like the idea of playing out next year with Matisse and Korkmaz needing to play 48 minutes+ every single night, and Scott plus some random cheap FA being our backup PF and C?

Al’s contract is rough but dumping it with assets doesn’t get us anything, strictly be a move to save the owners from lux tax. If that has to happen I get it, but I’m not going to beat the drum for it.

Shayok missed big baskets. Roberson made big baskets.

I'm dumbfounded by how bad Kyle O'Quinn has become. Two years ago on the Knicks, he was a good backup. He's unplayable now. He may not get a job in the league next year.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Anyone worried that Ben looks less athletic than before. I haven't seen one of his explosive dunks at all, since return. Even in practice, the dunks are pretty meah.

Having watched the game, there were times tonight where Ben was open at 3 and ready yet Tobias, Richardson and Horford failed to pass it to him and instead were looking for their own shots. Cmon man

seriously. it was a big deal that he took a couple last time. you got to encourage it, especially now when you only go a couple games before the playoffs.

I personally think he hurt his back after a dunk and slip, in the all star game. Maybe he's a bit gun-shy, but overall he looks like an elite athlete.

Yeah it's crazy. He's gone from being a decent defender to getting overwhelmed by backups and also can't hit a shot.

Also crazy that you can basically pencil in Pelle as the third center next year and I think most people would be fine with that (he even shoots 3s now :D ). They should probably target a developmental center for the end of roster or two-way also, ideally a stretch 4.5 that can maybe play a little with Embiid (basically Bolden but good).

Missed the game but it looks like the Thunder was obliterating the starters with the PnR.

Well yes and no. Yes it was their only effective set but when the starters took the night off the sixers were up about 20 so obliterated is a bit of a overreaction

I was overall more impressed by this game than the last. Better opponent for the Sixers, and without Joel... They basically dominated while the actual players that will get minutes were in. But, I feel that in general the guys all filled their lanes and played their roles better. Sure, you'd like to see Josh, Kork and Tobi hit at least 1 more 3pter each, but overall, everyone played the way you would hope give or take. Especially Al when it came to hitting 3s. He really opened the game up, and I think allowed everyone to get comfortable. GR3 and Alec both were giving the team what was expected when they were traded here. Mattise hounded ball handlers for OKC.

If they can get 2 guys at least, to hit shots it could make all the difference in the world for this team.

Still want to know how they would try to close out a close game offensively.

I also was glad that they allowed Shake to play a little longer than most other starters. He needs confidence. I would like to see him when he's aggressive as the go to guy for stretches. Because offensively, all of the starters need to know they have a green light, especially the only one that actually can shoot and doesn't any away from the 3pt line.

I like Shayok but Shayok needs more experience.

Yea, you're right. Obliterated was too strong of a word. I was just watching highlights and it seemed like they were scoring with ease on offense, but I wasn't considering context of the score at the time.

Players come to Philly to forget how to play. Happens too often.
