Bowman, Mulder or Toscanini-Anderson

Post#1 » by B-King » Mon Jul 27, 2020 3:31 am

Barring injury one or two of these guys are cut next year. They all had some moments on a terrible team. I think Mulder is the first to go with Bowman the second most likely. The backcourt is crowded with Klay coming back.

I'm keeping Mulder of the 3. Then it depends on how we look at the other positions to consider either JTA or Bowman.

I keep Mulder for two reasons...Best shooter and can play pg or sg. I’d take him over Lee as well.

Bowman I like because of pg defense. He’s tough, and you gotta love tough guys. But Mulder over him.

Toscano would only make the team if we strike out on bringing wings in. He’s a try hard guy, but not a consistent shooter, and makes to many try hard mistakes.

Mulder is the first prospect we’ve picked up since Klay that is a legitimate high volume 3 point gunner. You keep him. In a hilariously small sample size, ESPN’s RPM had him as a top ten player in the league and a positive defender. He’s obviously not that but the Warriors played better with him on the floor, he works hard on D and he’s a real shooter. We need that way more than Bowman or Toscano-Anderson (who I do like more than most). I’d be shocked if Mulder doesn’t make the team.

A marksman shooter will be tougher to come by than a developing a 3rd string point guard or finding a wing who plays hard.

Paschall and Green aren't great shooters, and Wiggins is inconsistent. If all three of Wiggins, Green, Paschall are off we are going to wish we had more shooting off the bench. I am hoping Poole, Lee, and Mulder all shoot well next year because that will make things immensely easier if can collectively barrage teams from deep.

Mulder, but if we can get Bane/Neismith (prefer Bane) you can cut all 3 for vets

I'd definitely keep Mulder, we need a shooter. Than probably Bowman. I like Toscano Anderson as well, his defense, but i think Ky can organize our offense in a decent way, i'd keep him as Curry backup, let him show what he can do with a full squad. But if we can find a decent veteran replacement for him on the cheap, it's fine, too.

Does anyone think that Lee might be on the bubble too?

I guess pretty much everyone below the top 4 are on the bubble depending on who and how many vets come to the Warriors ring chasing.

His contract is only partially guaranteed ($600k) so it's possible. But with only 8 guaranteed contracts there are a lot of slots to fill. Pretty sure he'll be kept above the 3 guys mentioned.

If it’s between him and Mulder I’m going X Files

Bowman or Mulder, probably Bowman just cuz we need a 3rd unit point for fringe mins, though Mulder is needed for the shooting

Toscapanini can go

wow I must not have been paying attention during the last handful of garbage games... surprised with all the Mulder love. He's the first to go for me. Sure he showed he can shoot in the g league, but its not like he was making them in the small sample size of NBA games. Doesn't create for others, not really a defender, less athletic, quite a bit older.

Unless we make a TPE move for someone like Rubio or draft a PG, I think we are stuck with Bowman and Poole backing up Steph (and utilizing dray and wiggins as playmakers too).

1. Steph
2. Klay
3. Dray
4. Wiggins
5. Paschall
6. Chriss
7. Poole
8. Looney
9. Smiley
10. Lee
11. Bowman
12. TPE
13. 1st round pick
14. MLE
15. 2nd rounder
16. Juan
17. Mulder

Am i forgetting anyone? Outside of a trade, seems to me that if we utilize all of our roster options, we will need to drop Juan and Mulder.

Our team is desperate for shooters outside of Steph and Klay, give me Mulder

Mulder didnt play enough to find what we hate about him. Hahaha

As for your list, I would put the 2nd rdrs as likely 2-way players and would not have them above Juan nor Mulder at this point.

Mulder/Bowman/Toscano Anderson level of players is about what we should expect (but hopefully they will be better) from the 2nd rd picks.

If we only keep 1, I’d prefer Mulder... basically cause he didnt play enough for me to find something to hate yet.

If we keep 2 (which i hope we dont cause I want vet min players with experience to hopefully be able to edge these types off the roster) I go Bowman assuming positional need is not a factor.

I enjoyed watching Bowman's rookie year, and want to see him have a chance to develop into a Pat Bev type.

I’d be a bit surprised if any of them are on the team next year, due to a combination of guaranteed roster spots, draft picks coming in, and our likely bringing aboard at least 2 veterans in the forms of the TPE and MLE.

But in order, I’d keep Mulder, then Bowman, then Toscano-Anderson if the roster is as it stands today.
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?
