On a serious note we might have to cut ties with Joel, dude never plays and has zero pain tolerance. Be wise to trade him now while he is in his prime.

Nice push by the Sixers this quarter. They're still going to lose as we're going to get a heavy dose of O'Quinn and Shayok in the 4th but nice to see.

Love Joel but I am for the first time thinking about it.
Hopefully this is more of the FO being extra cautious than anything. Joel looks pissed on the bench so I am hoping its not on him....but yeah...might need to start to kick some tires on some stuff this offseason if things go as I expect (I expect pain)

Embiid isn't playing because this game means nothing. I don't think his injury is of consequence.

I don't know what it is, but Al just looks so much better when he takes his time on offense. It's like with the team fully healthy he rushes to get his points, as he is supposed to be a complimentary piece. But when featured he really takes his time, gets into his spots and can execute. I feel like he rushes too much on offense, and has gotten slower on defense. Go figure

yeah this is a good observation.

He's been a role player his entire career but he has also been getting consistent touches the entire time (he was the offense hub for Boston for example). Not the case here at all..and we need him to take and make a lot more 3s whereas in the past it was merely an option not a requirement. It goes to show you that jusyt because a guy can do something doesn't mean thats what he is confortable doing.

I keep saying it, but I feel he's still the same player he's been for years, just in an odd fit and poor role as a floor spacer.

I also still feel it's not just a move for this year, as it was wise to get his talents rather than let the cash expire. I think he gives the team a lot of options. He can be traded with a young piece, it maybe for another bad contract that fits better here. He can backup Joel (which he's maybe saved the Sixers this year after all the injuries to Jo), back up Ben, and maybe Tobi. Still versatile, though not amazing defensively.

But, I truly think that after the previous 2 postseasons, he may be here to replace Joel. A repeat of soft postseason play, SHOULD lead to Joel being traded for quite a haul. Joel is one of my favorite players to watch in this league, and should be the big man that changes the game back to the paint.... But for business purposes... I would have to let him go and build around Ben. Simply due to health.

This should be either one hell of a run in the playoffs, or summer.

OQuinn with the old man at the Y level fail on that dunk attempt

I just checked my DVR for sixers game.

These guys have no business losing over the next week of games . Portland should be interesting

JJ Barea playing bully ball on Korkmaz was the x-factor lol.

These last two exhibition losses further amplify our need for added depth.

Ben is just not looking to score in these last 3 games he’s just been looking for 3pts assists.

Then I also agree that his athleticism is not 100%. But he’s never been that good at finishing, so it may just be being rusty.

But then we must not forget that these are as meaningless as some rucker park game.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I feel that with the top 5-6 players on this team (depending on where you count Shake)... the depth on this is strong. Guys like Kork, Tisse, Alec, GR3 have enough of a variation in skills to blend in, and start at times with strong showings. All of them can hit shots from the perimeter when they're on, along with other specialities.

At his best he would be a one man fast break, having up there for oops or dunks. Haven't seen that at all.
