He can do better.

He can do better.

Maybe his long game is to get with her sister Kylie and buy the Suns from Sarver.

They were just scrimmage games but aren't you guys a little bit worried about Book? In chaotic Suns rosters he shined a lot and played absolutely amazing for a young guy in a horrible environment. I never believed that he is an empty stats guy because i watched almost every game of this dude's career and he definitely proved that he is one of the best scorer's in NBA history but now we have an actual team that play smart basketball and sometimes his turnovers, searching for big moments attitude and defense just makes me nervous about him as the leader of this team.

I'm never gonna say he is a selfish player because he generally makes the smart play but he definitely forces his shots. The problem with this is actually we need him to hit those shots that's what your best scorer does.Forcing those difficult shots and making them is your best scorer's job but of course you need some sort of a balance. Watching Mitchell,Tatum,Brown,Siakam all young players that we believe worse offensive players than Book outplayed him and provided the scoring punch their team needed and this just makes me frustrated. Even though his effort is sometimes there he is still a defensive liability. Generally opposing teams runs plays for the guy Book defends. I'm actually ok with his defense as long as he becomes closer we want him to be on offense. Like Kawhi with the last year's Raptors. Raptors had an amazing team last year but whenever they are in trouble Kawhi hit the big shots.

I believe with some addition to the bench this team is a solid play-off team next year and Book will be a huge part of that but if the Suns serious about building a contender i believe that other than any kind of improvement we desperately need Book to become an MVP level player and a better decision maker on offense.

I'm not saying that Book sucks and we should trade him. I'm a huge fan and believer of the core of the team and believe that Suns will explode next year (in a good way) Let's see where this core is going but if Booker is close to Zach Lavine type of player instead of Harden/Curry in the future. We should at least entertain the idea of trading him.

Lets wait and see how these next 8 games go. I've always been a little concerned about our ceiling if he is the best player and tries to do too much himself. But he does make the right play a lot...moreso than in the past, and has stepped up defensively. I just don't understand why he doesn't shoot better from deep. He is still very efficient overall, but it's not like he's taking most of his 3s with guys all over him..he usually takes wide open ones. I think he still probably needs to limit pull up 3s and do more catch and shoot ones.

The starting 5 against the Raptors was a nice mix and a solid starting 5 and we did well without even Booker or Ayton playing that well...because Bridges and Cam are very efficient players and Rubio is good at forcing turnovers and putting pressure on the other team. If Booker and Ayton step up and play to their ability along with that it could look really good.

I don't expect to see Oubre off the bench, but a bench of Oubre/Saric/Baynes and a couple of guards or one of the starters and one backup guard would give us that nice depth.

Booker finally coming into his own. He had the scoring accolades, he's had the big pay day and now this season he's starting to become a true alpha in this league with the all-star selection and putting this team on his back.

I don't take for granted what he is doing.

He is working harder on the defensive end and he is carrying us a lot of times on offense. Teams are double him but it doesn't matter...he finds a way to score and help the team winning.

He played against the Heat another amazing game, full of energy and confidence. Some of their baskets were an absolute joy to watch.

We are witnessing greatness.

Nice article about Booker.

Interesting that OKC tried to swap picks to get him. Didn't know that bit.
