Game 67: Bucks "at" Rockets - 8/2 - 7:30 - FSN/ABC

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sat Aug 1, 2020 6:42 pm

Bucks have nothing to play for but getting tuned up for the playoffs is important. Rockets can finish anywhere from 2-7 in the west. Their starters all played 40+ (in OT) Friday night. Giannis (32) and Middleton (33) were the only Bucks topping 30.

No word on whether Bledsoe or Connaughton will get some minutes

GO BUCKS!
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Would like to see Mids start hitting shots. Other than that, no injuries.

Go Bucks.

The game is meaningless for the Bucks so I hope we play him straight up and let him go off. Bud should save any tricks he has up his sleeve for a potential playoff series.

Play that Bledsoe D on Harden just to annoy him. Also, try to get Russ to take 10+ WIDE OPEN threes just for the laughs.

We won’t face Harden and the Rockets again after tonight.

Unfortunately I'm predicting a loss without Bled there. I'm not sure how we'll be able to keep the Lopez's out there for an extended stretch either

It doesn’t matter but shouldn’t it be Rockets at Bucks? Our first game was in Houston.

THE SONG OF JAMES HARDEN

I wish I was seven feet tall
This game would take no skill at all
I'd run and I'd dunk
I could play like I'm drunk
I might even learn passing the ball

Looks like 120-104 and many stank faces tonight. Harden with an ineffective ESPN documentary night: 30-for-30 (points and shot attempts).

Bled and Pat still out, Marvin not on the injury report. Will be very tough without Bled against Harden/Russ.

I think giannis should have his way with the rockets D and think and hope hill performs better tonight than against the celts. He did a good job on harden to.
Houston is missing gordon so that helps a little. For the record i hope giannis absolutely destroys harden tonight

I wish everyone was healthy and we could give the Lopez's the the night off. Then watch Giannis go for 60 in 30 minutes as the Bucks blow out the Rockets. I don't want Giannis to be the all-time center because I don't want him to have to bang for 36 minutes a night with guys bigger than him for 82 games.

BUUUUTTTTT...... in these matchups when the biggest guy in the starting lineup is 6'7" 210 lbs or 6'5 245 lbs. I think it would be incredibly fun to just watch Giannis eat against Harden led Rockets team

Bledsoe, DDV, Matthews, Middleton, Giannis starting lineup. Then come in off the bench with George Hill, Korver, Conaughton, Marvin Williams and Ersan.

Too bad Bledsoe is still out. It's so fun to watch him defend Harden.

When I saw the schedule I looked at the games against the Celtics, Raptors and Heat as quasi-statement games and all the other games would be extensions of the scrimmages. The Celtics game was tied through 3 quarters and was tight throughout the 4th, if its tied or tight through 3 I wouldn't expect the Bucks to go all-out like they did against the Celtics.
